samsung, LG, sony, whoever the fuck = release new product, hype the shit out of it, say it's incredible, have obnoxious advertising with perfect beautiful people models... no one bats an eye.

I'm with Benfall... love or hate, they reign king for a reason. And that is interesting, worth thinking about... especially if all us idiots in qbn work in design/advertising in some shape or form.

Apple wins because they do something others still can't seem to grasp: they approach personal tech industry as what it is: fashion industry.
They sell hi-tech fashion accessories announced by their fashion dictator on hyped up seasonal fashion shows packed with fashion and gossip reporters. Then they have celebrities parade with their wares everywhere.

Every iOS device tends to get slow and less responsive after a few months or so. Won't this ruin the experience of drawing with the pencil?

It'll be interesting to see if the limitations of regular ipads continue for the ipad pro. I guess it'll depend on sales, if enough buy it someone will make something. I stopped using my ipad ages ago, my phone does more and the screen is large enough to read. For other stuff, I am liking the Surface and having a mouse when I want it.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised they didn't opt for OSX, this way they can continue to monopolize the "apps" and rake extra cash in.

AppleTV gaming potential is all I have taken away from this. It's early days and starting at zero but has some serious potential if people start buying the new units.
