The series hails from “Fargo” and “Legion” creator Noah Hawley and begins when a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth.
A young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat.
As members of the crash recovery crew search for survivors in the wreckage, they encounter mysterious, predatory life forms more terrifying than they could have ever imagined.
With this new threat unlocked, the search crew must fight for survival, and what they choose to do with this discovery could change planet Earth as they know it.
In November, Hawley cleared up the confusion, revealing the series unfolds just two years prior to the events in “Alien” in 2122. He also confirmed the series will lean into the retrofuturistic aesthetic of the original “Alien”.

Patricia Arquette looks great with the grey hair.CyBrainX - the first few episodes that were directed by Ben stiller were, well stellar. Very Kubrickian just beautifully shot and art-directed_niko

- Haven't watched it yet. Is it faithful to the anime? I'm pretty suspicious of live-action adaptations after that Cowboy Bebop disaster.Continuity
- what is it? Street Fighter?Ianbolton

- I loved the show. A depressed ex-marine taking up an acting class to try and find acceptance was great. Bill Hader played the role perfectlyIanbolton

Are you #teambinge or#teamweeklyepisode? I'm the latter. I like looking forward to them. For me, binging is a thing i do only when i'm sick.
Also, I once binged 124 episodes of Star Trek Voyager in less than a month. Yeah, there's a reason I never touched recreational drugs.
- I did a weak #teamweekly for Adolescence, parsing it out over a few weeks and woof. The conversations leaned "how did people do that?"garbage
- But really I need a yes/no on Voyager. I've been tempted, but I'm a strict TNG / DS9 and all other Trek sucks.garbage
- Voyager is indistinguishable from TNG for the casual viewer. It's not nearly as good, though. Never saw DS9, which I know is Trek sacrilege. I will.jagara
- It looks exactly the same. Came out right after TNG ended.jagara
