been playing around with my new Hasselblad H6D-400c MS, a little pricey but well worth it. The Model is Mariko, flew her in from Osaka for a week's shoot, she's loving her time in Toronto but man she's got expensive tastes, hotel and dinners alone are costing me an arm and a leg.
Studio is fairly new, space is great and lighting equipment is all brand new, I hate the setting up part but it's a must for great results.
first test shot:
just kidding, this is a 5 second prompt in Midjourney. I don't think physical photography will ever go the way of blockbuster but man it's hard to make a case for it as AI gets better and better.

- Has midjourney broken the 4 megapickels barrier yet?jonny_quest_lives
- all about the megapiickles...jonny_quest_lives

- was gonna say fuck you and your Hasselblad! jealous.
those A.I needs to go easy with the skin texture tho.pango - as long as nudity stay forbidden as it currently is with all AI related programs, it's not a game changer for meSimonFFM
- it's not forbidden, there are tons out there that let you do it_niko
- @SimonFFM it's slowly being loosened on that from with so many custom models out there. I doubt it'll impact your work yet.PhanLo

- Love this photo, I tried reproducing this photo with Midjourney. I couldn't get the buildings in the foreground to look as layered.utopian

- OH my God, these are stunning. And to too far from where I am on the Lower East Side.CyBrainX
- midjourney will just randomize the environment and give you a generic quasi Empire State... Modjourney falls apart when dealing with specifics.jonny_quest_lives
- midjourney will give you caricature of the New York Skyline at best...jonny_quest_lives

- Maybe it wasn't the cameras.palimpsest
- They colorized and often enhanced the image by painting in a ton of details. So, no they weren’t betterfuturefood
- Maybe the light was different back thenGnash
- Colours we’re also different before WW1Gnash
- This is fake, we all know it was black and white back then.ephix
- Because put used to put effort into things back then?slappy
- Prompt Engineers were shit on back then.utopian
- bottom one looks more realistic + all the figures in the top one look very staged.milfhunter
- Didn't they have to be super still in the poses as it was more like a long exposure. Or https://www.qbn.com/…PhanLo
- The use photoshopGabriel
- @phanlo. Well, it’s a known fact the people moved slower back then so that helped the exposureGnash
- Hence the term ‘fast-paced’ to describe mordere lifeGnash
- We also have to take into account that there were less humans at that time so Earth was lighter. This helped reduce exposure time.palimpsest
- You’re right that the earth was lighter then, but only because the USA was still young and everyone wasn’t fat yetGnash
- Also, more people believed in god back then. As the souls left the atheists bodies they got lighter. So it kinda evens outsGnash

- Would be nicer without the car********
- Done!
https://i.imgur.com/…utopian - I dont know crazyprick, i get what you say it´s a road, I think the car completes it. I like it!valentim
- the car is a vibe! imagine yourself in it, or as an observer - it's rounding the corner and headed towards the sunset. Poetic either way.Krassy
- The car is the focal point, just swap it for something old like a 70s Volvo and maybe move the tree so it doesn't intersect the car and its a winner.slappy
