Isn't this sort of act ultimately going to be the cause of their demise in the longer run though?
I mean as far as propaganda goes at the very least.

12 years ago, most sane countries tried their best to stop country A's gov to fuck shit up in the middle east,

The question wasn't addressed to me but I'll give my overly simplistic answer or rant anyway. What happens now? I see all sides in a tug of war between supporting the side which is more favorable to their power/financial interests vs any kind of peace or prosperity which does not support their oligarchical interests. Right or wrong, ethics or human dignity be damned. Same thing that's happened throughout history.
It's a machine and it is enraging. It does not care how we feel or who we hurt. It's about power and dominance. If we haven't figured this out in the tens of thousands of years of human history what makes us think we'll solve this now? I tend to hope that in this day and age of global communication that expanded awareness can lead to a more peaceful coexistence but it also seems to be solidifying people into their respective corners.
Until there is total domination by one faction, or the conflict becomes too costly to global markets, or we collectively have a positive global conscience shift, this will sadly continue. Best I feel we can personally do is live our lives as peaceful and open-minded as we hope the world to be and not get too caught up in things we have no control over.

What's the end game here? for the most part the US is waiting to see if this'll sort itself out, ISIS is doing their best to provoke them and draw them in but so far no dice. But why? what does ISIS have to gain by drawing in the Americans? We've already seen that they can't handle a ragtag group of semi-regulars in the Kurdish fighters, what hope do they have against a full on military assault?
Are the Americans setting all this up? do they want nothing less than a scorched earth total inhalation of ISIS? was this the gameplan all along?
is it going to take another 9-11? is it going to take a bunch of Americans burning in a cage? I think Afganistan and Iraq had many sympathizers world wide, not many countries supported the US in the invasion of these countries but the way things have played out so far, and the way ISIS is being painted (either by their own propaganda or the west's) I think the Americans could drop a nuclear bomb on them and nobody would blink.

so ISIS captured 70 christian women and children and will no doubt carry out a gruesome public execution as further provocation to the west in hopes of drawing them into war. Don't see what they hope to achieve with this other than total inhalation of ISIS by the West.
Or is this some kind of CIA/MIC false flag to justify a new war?
Or Is Russia or Saudi Arabia or even Isreal propping up and supplying arms to isis for their own goals, arms sales, destabilization, regime change etc)
