After all this, Russia will be in a very weak position globally.
Judging by the economical “advancement“ of other Eastern European countries after the Cold war, Russia will need at least 40-50 years to catch up, if that...
Rn their economy is trailing Italy more or less, by size alone, even tho their quality of life is way way lower. Not to mention their isolation in so many ways.
They export crude and gas, while the world is aiming for ending fossil fuels in a decade more or less (we really need to), so no more bargaining chips for Russia from now on.
Global energy companies like BP and Shell read the room and divested Russian holdings losing billions overnight and those hold a lot more influence on the global scene than Vlad :)
Ffsake Vlad made Germany willing to rearm again and Switzerland brake their neutrality!
More or less Russia is in Germany‘s position after WW2
The mythical resilience of the Russian people will be put to the test once more...
- Another thing: the real humanitarian crisis will hit when Russians start to think for themselves again and spread around. Mother Russia will remain a wasteland.grafician

- Sanctions and restrictions need to continue, the life’s of ordinary Russians need to be affected enough for a change within to happen. Sadly.shapesalad

I think today is gonna be the day. Why do I think that?Because this was carefully timed to:
-Coincide with Russia's Chairing of the UN meeting
-Councide with Joe Biden's State of the Union speechWhen Hitler invaded Poland, it was no longer possible to remain neutral. I think we are very close.
Hopefully I'm wrong?
- And what I'm referring to is Russia is taking the gloves off now... turning up the heat to provoke a response.cherub

Once again amazing analysis (in Polish).
A few key take aways:
1. There are 3 fronts: Crimean + Donbas, Kharkov, Kiev.
2. Crimea + Donbas = is going bad for Ukraine. Russian offense is very well prepared and executed with high morale.
3. Kharkov would go much better if not the last minute the forces were not taken for the Kiev front.
4. Kiev front, according to the speaker, was added into the plan the last minute with "a crayon". It's going badly for the Russians but they are quickly learning.
5. The Russians are using only 40% of the amassed forces.
6. Belarus "might" enter the conflict greatly changing the Kiev front.
7. But, Belarus's Lukashenko is afraid that the conscript Belarus army might change sides to Ukraine side so he might restrain himself.
8. Though air around Kiev is not secured by any side, area around Crimean + Donbas, Russians have air supremacy.- It doesn’t look like the Russian have fully committed all their forces for this yet.Chimp
