Normally I fucking loath conspiracy theories...but this President is just so desperate and devoid of any decency, nothing would surprise me. I have zero doubt either he or someone in his orbit could have fabricated a diagnosis on his behalf if he wanted it.

Of course Trump is a liar but I don't see what he gains from this. At minimum he'll have to quarantine for two weeks at a time when he is supposed to be out campaigning every day. It also makes him look incredibly stupid and incompetent for catching a virus he downplayed so much.
