At least if Trump wins we’ll never have to hear about elections again

"By making Mr Trump leader of the free world, Americans would be gambling with the economy, the rule of law and international peace. We cannot quantify the chance that something will go badly wrong: nobody can. But we believe voters who minimise it are deluding themselves."
- Ramanisky20
- On the bright side, there's little or no shame from Americans that support their bigot lord which means polling should be more accurate than 2016 and 2020.CyBrainX

Donald Trump is not cognitively fit to be president. The presidency is a position that requires an occupant able to act strategically and carefully. That Trump is not such a person is obvious if you watch the man. And so, for years, his supporters have said: Don’t watch the man. Don’t listen to what he says. Look at the results. But those results reflected the power and ability of others to check Trump, to inhibit him when he could not inhibit himself. It is not just the man who is now unfit; it is the people and institutions that surround him.
... And so he is now surrounded by yes men and enablers, by opportunists and scam artists, by ideologues and foot soldiers.
What we saw on that stage in Pennsylvania, as Trump D.J.’d, was not Donald Trump frozen, paralyzed, uncertain. It was the people around him frozen, paralyzed, uncertain. He knew exactly where he was. He was doing exactly what he wanted to do. But there was no one there, or no one left, who could stop him.
- NYT, is self-proclaimed propaganda arm of the democratic party.pr2
- @pr2 - have you read the article? I thought it an interesting take. Are there specific points you disagree with?skinny_puppy

The Trump campaign has paused its premature celebration and fallen into sweat mode, as early-voting numbers indicate more women are turning up than men in must-win Pennsylvania..
As the early results from Pennsylvania reveal an influx of first-time female voters who will likely break for Harris, a newfound anxiety is taking hold.
While Trump continues to claim he has a massive lead, setting the stage to contest any unfavorable result, some in the Mar-a-Lago-sphere are starting to believe that his surge last week was two weeks premature.

- As if this is a message from a presidential candidate. What the actual fuck?! And people bum the fuck out of him thinking he's a legitimate God!Ianbolton
- pr2 thinks this man is “smart”. Wrap your mind around that.monospaced
- Don Trump was born into a real estate family and barely succeeded at that. Did nothing special in real estate. He’s a commercial real estate agent.nb
- As far as careers go, real estate is widely accepted to be the career that the dumbest people can still get wealthy doing it.nb
- Real estate is full of high school dropouts, ex-bartenders, likable dumb guys and attractive women. Easiest career.nb
- Meanwhile, Mark Cuban was not born into business or wealth. Made it on his own. Successfully taking on big pharmaceutical with Cost Plus.nb
- This guy fucks. Trump knows it and he’s jealous, and petty about it. What a little bitch.nb
- Trump wishes he looked as good as Mark, inside or out.monospaced
- I bet he takes the biggest shits, and has the most amazing back acne. Everything hyperbole.colab
- AHAHAHA I think this is directly to Mark Cuban by someone who knows him. No clubhead speed? That's such a specific diss. Mark probably deeply affected by this.monNom
- Yes, golf shit talk from a known golf cheater.monospaced
- Mark can just rent all the ad space in America for $1B with a message "Trump is a loser" and destroy this idiotgrafician

Why is noone talking about the donkey-size dick that the democratic party used to slap us with by giving us Harris as the running candidate?
Trump, who, like him or not, went through the primary rising way above the rest in preferences of the people (in my fantasy world some other, more qualified candidates, would get the nomination but still this is how the system works). Harris, on the other hand was picked behind-the-scenes by a few technocrats. What are her qualifications? Why is being a woman (as if that was ever some magic ingredient to run things smoothly), or being a person of color the main qualifier? Are those few technocrats trying to force their candidate down our throats so certain how ignorant we, the public, really are? Do they really want the main qualification for the position of the representative of the most powerful country in the world be gender and color of one's skin? Did they pick someone so intellectually mediocre to show us how indifferent they (and in turn we all should be) to this thing called merit? In any given room, we can find plenty of people who are of (or above) Harris' caliber. Why such contempt for quality?- And please, spare me the talk how Trump isn't exactly the sharpest too in the toolbox. Like him or not, he came on top in the primaries.pr2
- tell us what you like about trump.
and don't like about harrispango - You for real? You feel like it's "unfair" or something to have the sitting VP be the next obvious choice for that party's candidacy?aslip
- How about the reverse...Kamala is: Articulate, thoughtful, tempered, experienced, and open to compromise. Trump is none of these things.brandonp
- Harris is "articulate" "thoughtful" "experienced" and "open to compromise"?? are we living in the same reality??pr2
- She was VP dude. She spent as much time in the White House as Trump. And has far more clout as a leader.monospaced
- Nocanoe
- You sound so ignorant thinking she came out of nowhere and was picked because she is a woman. Trump doesn’t even pay taxes.monospaced
- For some stupid reason the right picked Trump specifically BECAUSE he had no experience or qualifications. They also believed his non stop lies.monospaced
- "are we living in the same reality??"
I guess not.pango - This is the type of disgusting set of priorities and sexism that is ending our democracy.CyBrainX
- @pr2 clearly you're lost in the wilderness. Try sourcing your information like a fisherman casts a wide net. Or in design terms, pull lots of source material.brandonp
- You'll find a reputable consensus based on factual statements made, actions taken, and the following outcomes. Now apply that to both candidates...brandonp
- and you'll find out if you're living in a bubble or just a sexist prick who can't handle a woman managing a job better than Trump could.brandonp
- pr2, I partially agree with you but it’s not like you say. she wasn’t “selected”. She won the primary because no one opted to run against her.nb
- The DNC is not interested in finding the best candidate, they’re interested only in electability.nb
- But you’re totally wrong about gender and skin color being the reasons she was chosen. She’s clearly qualified and intelligent.nb
- considering you're the guy who called an old mercedes a "pus*y magnet" and offered $100 for custom badge work, it's obvious you're a trump supporterimbecile
- Trump supporter, science denier, vaccine conspiracy theorist, misogynist and racist bigot, and father of a young girl. Classy.monospaced
- Remember when you tried convincing us all that the vaccine would kill everyone? Silly boy.monospaced
- Your conspiracy that Kamala wants to make policy that will “fuck” with your kids gender is also absolute nonsense.monospaced
- she was picked as VP purely do to gender and ski color. period. she was assumed to give Biden some gender and skin-color points.pr2
- in 3 years you won't name 1 thing she has done. NYT, the self-proclaimed propaganda arm of democratic party, had to upturn...pr2
- ...every stone to find a world leader who had something positive to say about her. They found president of Equador.pr2
- watch ANY press interview where she's not reading from the prompter. (watch in entirety, not just some franken bites)pr2
- she ran a competitive campaign for president in 2020, or you just conveniently forgot that part? McCain picking Palin would more accurately describe your logicbrandonp
- she can't put a coherent sentence together which is weird cause she's running against a guy who isn't known for erudition.pr2
- When Trump ran, he hadn’t done anything either. Grow up.monospaced
- Name a world leader that says good things about Trump. Please.monospaced
- it's shocking to see how easy it is to put soap in people's eyes and get away with it... oh wait, i forgot about covid...pr2
- I’ll start. Putin. Kim jong Un.monospaced
- The Saudis LOVE Trump. Basically anyone sanctioned by the USmonospaced
- "McCain picking Palin" - i agree, EXACTLY same thing as Biden picking Harris.pr2
- This is my problem with Trump supporters, none of them seem to know what's going on.yuekit
- In any recent interview Trump answered how he would solve this or that world problem. (actually refreshing to hear some concrets)pr2
- Harris delivers zero concrete answers.pr2
- Harris wasn't picked by technocrats...what happened was that there was a primary and people voted for Biden and Harris.yuekit
- You have a war happening in Europe (started during Biden). War happening in Middle East (started during Biden) and a war looming...pr2
- ...with China. What makes you believe that this inept woman will lead you to any resolution?pr2
- After the debate people realized they made a mistake and pressured Biden to step down. Harris was the obvious successor as his VP.yuekit
- Unlike some of you, i read foreign newspapers (due to my foreign upbringing). The world is laughing at Biden's administration's ineptitude.pr2
- But even at that point another candidate could have announced they wanted to be the nominee and beat Harris.yuekit
- They laugh at US's inability to project power (even though we do have real military power).pr2
- Harris was nominated at the convention after convincing the democratically elected delegates from the primary to support her.yuekit
- yuekit, and the avalanche of "Harris, the golden child better than slice bread" articles that came out the NEXT day of Harrise's aouncement.pr2
- Have you read a transcript of what Trump said? Pure word salad nonsense. You clearly have NOT heard what Kamala said.monospaced
- ...doesn't tell you how a few guys got together in one room to pick the candidate for all of us?pr2
- I don't have ONE democratic friend (and in NYC they are all dems) who will vote for Harris.pr2
- It wasn't ideal but this was the best we could do given the circumstances. There wasn't time for a second primary after Biden stepped down.yuekit
- Anyway Trump tried to overturn a democratic election so this is a weird thing to focus on if you support him.yuekit
- When Biden/Harris was announced, it was obvious it was to score some brownie point due to gender and race.pr2
- When it was clear that Biden will step down, it was a breath of fresh air. Every one of us hoped for Dems to give us some credible candidate.pr2
- Then they gave us DEI hire who has zero qualification.pr2
- A nice way to push center voters like me straight into Trump's arms.pr2
- The VP taking over from the President is kind of the expected outcome.yuekit
- But ultimately it was up to the delegates at the convention. That's who decides the nominee.yuekit
- So thousands of normal people voting, not party elites. Some of the elites wanted a more competitive process.yuekit
- Obama and Pelosi for instance were calling for a very fast (2-3 weeks) second primary. But this is difficult to orchestrate, you need people to want to run etc.yuekit
- "you need people to want to run" and you don't get that when the technocrats the very NEXT day proclaimed Harris as the next best thing.pr2
- ?? got example she is a DEI hire and not qualified?pango
- I think the timeline was just too short at that point. And imagine another candidate convinced the delegates to vote for them instead..this would have been lessyuekit
- democratic than them choosing Harris who people voted for in the primary and in 2020 along with Biden.yuekit
- Trump supporters would have gone ballistic over that...who is this person coming out of nowhere.yuekit
- p2 is saying harris is a lot of stuffs. but never how? give us something! you need to do a better job at convincing us!pango
- Biden about his future VP: "Whomever I pick, preferably it will be someone who was of color and/or a different gender"pr2
- Applying to law school she got in by pretending to be from impoverished underprivilege position.pr2
- She's a shyster who greatly benefited from DEI. None of us are saints but lets not pretend that quacking duck isn't a duck.pr2
- She's a great supporter of DEI. She has made it very clear that she thinks that equity is the functional equivalent of equality.pr2
- i figured you'd suck his cock, but now i know you have no human decency. "A nice way to push center voters like me straight into Trump's arms."imbecile
- everyone is wasting their time talking to pr2, he is a proud schmuck. has been for years... https://www.qbn.com/…imbecile
- Got anything to actually back it up? Or just your word? And maybe heard from somewhere with equally lack of source?pango
- me? i provided a link. here's another one https://www.qbn.com/… schmucky for sureimbecile
- pr2, watch this video and let us know how wrong they are will ya? https://www.qbn.com/…imbecile
- Was talking to pr2. But thx!pango
- pango:
https://www.heritage…pr2 - lol the heritage foundation. okay...
let's pretend they're not a stone throw away from breitbart.pango - what if she is a women with black and indian parents? does that automatically make her unqualified?pango
- are we skipping over her career was District attorney for 9 yrs, attorney general for 6 yrs senator for 4 yrs?pango
- what is it that makes her unqualified?pango
- she's also not a felon. I mean that bar is low but at least she passed that.pango
- also why is this word "DEI" getting so popular now? had to look it up what that is. if you want to "not white" just say it.pango
- the heritage foundation "gave us" Thomas Sowell. not exactly an intellectual light-weight.pr2
- the article provides quotes and links to the sources, so you can see for yourself.pr2
- why DEI is so popular? i don't know, ask a democrats. centrists and republicans don't see fundamental qualifiers like gender or skin color to be of importance.pr2
- sowell would hate trump's views on trade / tariffs, corporate subsidies, and government Intervention. so please say something else stupidimbecile
- Sowell hates Trump but is still voting for him as better of the two options, stupid.pr2
- if you agree with people voting against their own interests, that doesn't make me stupid. it makes you two stupid. you'll figure it out somedayimbecile
- where are we on that fascist question?imbecile
- silly wet flip floppy fucks! https://www.youtube.…https://www.eastbayt…imbecile
- this is your proud party? fucking hilariousimbecile
- I feel like everyone ignores that Trump is just identity politics for white people.yuekit
- still can't figure out why people thinks she's unqualified. because DEI or not white?pango
- for *racist white peopleimbecile
