In reality there's no reason at all to think that electing Republicans will improve the economy or fix inflation. It could very well threaten the US economy since Republicans are saying they'll refuse to raise the debt ceiling. This will create a situation similar to under Obama where there's a threat of the USA defaulting on its debt.
