POLL: US Presidential Election, Pennsylvania
Biden: 51%
Trump: 46%(NBC News/Marist)

the most tricky state
POLL: US Presidential Election, Florida
Biden: 47%
Trump: 44%(NY Times/Siena)
- I'll be surprised if Biden wins Florida. I think Trump takes it by a point or two.yuekit
- Remember this state is the home of "Florida Man", Jeffrey Epstein and Trump himself.yuekit
- Florida is full of Northeasterner seniors w/ family still up north, might not take kindly to how the blue east coast was treated back in March/Apr/May...whatthefunk

Look, all these polls coming out right now are picked from thousands of polls being done to craft a narrative.
More importantly, most current poll reporting is like "Biden leads this state by 3 points, Trump leads that state by 2 points" and they are referencing polls which have a +/- 3 pts margin of error.
This means they literally might as well say "this poll tells us that we know, to a certainty... we absolutely know that our poll tells us that we don't have a clue who will win that state."
Don't, don't, d-don't believe the hype.

- it's gonna be 50-40ish for Biden, wait and see, chillgrafician
- don't trust the polls...just go out and vote!utopian
- but I don't see how Trump gets 40 when half of ppl who support him didn't even vote yetgrafician
- it's one thing to reply to a quiz online who you vote for, it's another thing to stay 10 hours in line to actually vote lolgrafician
- also when it gets to so much voter suppression, the party doing the suppression usually losesgrafician

Five Great Things Biden Has Already Done
"We’re learning not to underestimate the guy."

There are two ends of the spectrum
(other that hardcore Trumpists, who are simply cult members. They don't think)Ben Shapiro:
"....whatever damage he was going to do, has already been done...."This is his rationale. He is so afraid of Liberals being in power that he justifies voting for Trump anyway...by minimizing his erratic behavior. There are a lot of people who follow him. I battle them every day on Twitter.
Hard Left:
"Imagine thinking Hillary and Biden aren’t evil"This is from a twitter thread I was on. A bunch of people saying how Biden is 'evil'. To them, the Democratic institutions of the US should just be burned to the ground because they are 'evil'
These people are mostly so far left that they cannot be reasoned with - but many of them still see that Trump is not a good thing, worse than Biden
I just hope enough of these people on both ends can see what a threat Trump is and help vote Trump out
- Most people who think Biden is evil don't want to burn democratic institutions. They think burning down capitalism specifically would give us a better democracyCyBrainX
- How they gonna burn down capitalism? By posting on Twitter with hammer and sickle emojis?yuekit
- I can't help feeling a lot of this is coming from a very privileged perspective. Wanting to position themselves as outside of the system, but also beingyuekit
- comfortable enough in their own lives that they won't personally experience the downside of keeping a right-wing government in power.yuekit

Oops, guess this was better posted here.
This may have been posted years ago, but it's really great, and one the things that led me to believe he was the right choice for the Dems. And I say that as someone who wanted Warren, then Harris.

Biden expands the campaign into Texas
- The Californians and New Yorkers will vote Texas into the liberal hellholes they left, then they'll move onto the next unspoiled spot and ruin it too.MondoMorphic
- The people leaving California are not liberals, they're Rs that want to go to a state that suits them better. Arizona is becoming more D because latinos don'tzarkonite
- vote for Rs because they keep trying to put them in jail, deport or let the police harass them.zarkonite
- Same with Texas, the Rs have painted themselves into a demographic corner.zarkonite
- Check this out: https://projects.fiv… - some states are moving left, others to the right.zarkonite
- Some people voluntarily leaving CA may be Rs, but corporate relocations are moving a shit ton of Ds.MondoMorphic
- That's a great article, btw, Zarkonite! Thanks for sharingMondoMorphic
- Yeah true, companies are taking their staff with them. I'm just very skeptical of this whole R states being taken over. I think the Rs have become anathema tozarkonite
- a whole swath of population and it's not getting better. We're not crazy for being disgusted with most of them.zarkonite
- It's the strawman fallacy. People don't like the characiature presented of Rs, but that characiature is wildly inaccurate most of the time.MondoMorphic
- I've never voted Republican but I know plenty, and they're normal, educated, successful, etc. Definitely not the redneck caricature you're referring to.MondoMorphic
- If you look at the guy they elected, they lost the middle simply because of the racism. That's what I'm talking about, you got to ignore more and more crazinesszarkonite
- in order to be a successful educated conservative. I live in a very conservative area and I'm seeing lots of people disassociate themselves from the movementzarkonite
- because they are educated successful people who don't want to be associated with children being seperated from their parents to name one example.zarkonite

Biden may have won simply because Trump lost even harder than Biden did.
