Proof of People going on in London today.
Drop by and do some NFT rubbish talking in person.
- Any free goodies?shapesalad
- you get to mint free pieces from some high profile (OG) artists, some of the best artists on the fxhash platform. Yes.cherub
- Must be done in person, there at the event.cherub
- wish i could have made it. NAIRN, get along, mint a piece. It will sell for way more than you pay for it btw!microkorg
- Nairn, you'll be on your way to buying nazi apes in no time ;)microkorg
- Nairn, he's not joking. I would imagine these will be well over the cost of admission to the event.cherub
- Yes the ones from Art Basel Hong Kong were going for hundreds, maybe thousands after.
Some good artists minting generative ones here.microkorg - My brother lives in london, i was even thinking of asking him to go just to mint something then we'd split the sales profit ;)microkorg

Another day, another tag in some “cool nft project” by some utter clown who doesn’t even follow me.
- Does that rile you up more or less than posts about NFTs in a NFT thread?microkorg
- not as much as it riles up to ask a riled up question like that...neverscared
- Nairn3
So I was just at the pub meeting an old friend who's done well out of crypto et al.
Made, as best as I can work out from between the lines, $150k from bored ape NFTs alone. His last tax return hints that this was but the top bit of the iceberg.
Now that I'm home, I'm going to go and drown myself in the bath.
Thanks, it was 'fun'.
- Pretty sure you told this story before...grafician
- we are all gonna drown... climate change..neverscared
- or burn... thanks indeed.neverscared
- Pretty sure I haven't, as I literally only found out this evening.Nairn
- Mark this the third person I know who's done well out of this mess, alongside the other one who's lost a shit ton.Nairn
- Whatever, this is all about me and the fact that I'm not sitting on a pile of cash made from something I utterly detest.
Also fuck you, graf.Nairn - fuck crypto bro...
You're well and safe, why covet monopoly moneygrafician - I met my wee cousin at a wedding recently, he paid a guy £300 to do some generative pixelated Elon Musk NFTs and made $26,000. He makes EdM tooPhanLo
- Couldn’t make it a week without attacking a personal story. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯imbecile
- Buy High...Sell Lowutopian
- It isn’t Monopoly money when you cash out bro.monospaced
- some lose some win... only question is the quantites in it ... otherwise its full on useless...neverscared
- chances are much higher to lose.. who wants to make cash with an artnetwork affiliated to racists and nazis anyhow.... higly like a blowback innit u deserve..neverscared
- Nairn, tezos isnt burning the world. You're never going to know if you can do it if you dont try.microkorg
- I went from freelancing + dealing with clients in evenings to doing art I enjoy and WANT to do. I make more money and am 100x happier.microkorg

- Twitters trash previews! Piece is 8000x6000 and crisp as hell ;)microkorg
- mid journey?inteliboy
- I don't see a million of thempango
- put it on ethereum, gas is so low right now... I wish crypto crashes would happen everyday lolcherub
- I paid $4 the other day for an ETH transcation... unheard of right? I've never seen gas this cheap. I love it.cherub
- if you use the same prompt, you get the same image?
if I use the same prompt, I get the same NFT? :)grafician - Cherub. it's on objkt.com right now for the 1/1 event but priced as if it was on eth. If it doesnt sell there then the series will be going on FND/KO.microkorg
- Inteliboy. yes midjourney. Graf, no not a single prompt. Everything is midjourney created but lots of elements brought into one composition.microkorg
- Large 'painting', illustration, typography, each stamp is an output, paper, textures, dirtmicrokorg
- Pango, the concept is these are recruitment posters to build a million man army to fight the dragons woken by the building and damming by Yu the Great.microkorg
- MJ and Dalle not capable of making such layouts that make absolute compositional sense as this ... yet. ;)microkorg
- did u at least design sth. at a substance level or just arranged 13 components that u listened above...neverscared
- concept first then many many prompts to get the assets I wanted.microkorg
- Theres a whole fictional story behind this collection based on Chinese history.microkorg
- i guessed not then... nuffin from zero i mean... no texture.. type line or else...everything prefabricated...neverscared
- Yup. The calligraphy isn't even genuine Chinese, it's what AI has created to replicate Chinese. Which I think makes it even more epic.microkorg
- as to someone who doesnt know chinese this could look like a legit piece of chinese ancient art. But IYKYK it aint. ;)microkorg
- oiright of course definitons for epic vary... some say epic some say boring.. because not a lot of skill needed..neverscared
- since that guy who bought the tweet from dorsey called that thing the new mona lisa...i´am skeptic than nft bros know epicness in art history...neverscared
- there has been so many "new mona lisa" but all forgotten already. the most known attribute of mona lisa is it's fame. This painting doesn't even come close.pango
- What skills would be needed to recreate Pollock, Rothko, Emin, Herrera, Basquiat? Or is the greatness in their art the concept, the story, the originality?microkorg
- Art does NOT require skill.microkorg
- art is smoke in the air. poop on the side walk. you hopes and dreams. your nightmares. art is everything and nothing.pango
- Yes Pango! The people that tell us art must follow rules, be this, that or use specific skills are so, so wrong.microkorg
- tho i agree kills help but it is not required. i still think this generated painting looks like shiet lol but that's just my opinion.pango
- *skillspango

- good example: he transferred value into an nft. he still can sell it for more than 2.9M to another vanity buyer, he would get more eth or btc than he paid for.uan
- lol he tried...
"his efforts to resell it have run aground, with a top bid of just $6,800 as of Thursday."grafician - https://www.theguard…grafician
- mona lisea of the digital world... he either tries to be a comedian with a large toxic eco footpring or incredible stoopid and greedy....neverscared
- I can’t get over how fucking lame NFTs are and the people involved with them. The smaller communities seem cool, but it seems designed for folk like himPhanLo

Good initiative/event this month to change the narrative of NFTs on tezos for it to be seen as a place where there can be 1/1's of higher value. Let's see how it pans out.
I'll be minting pieces from a new collection over the coming days around the same price I'd be asking on ETH to push the cause.

- NFT should have been assigned to a fair value of the vehicle as part of the receipt. That's all they're good for.imbecile
- Starting at $240k? Who was the moron that decided that? $240ea might have gotten a few to cover the cost of giving the car away.formed
- er, $100k I guess, probably more for the collectibility of the car. The NFT is worthless without it (and worthless in general).formed
- If they had just auctioned the car it would have worked, for at least more than $100k.formed

Anyone try to make an NFT of a DALL-E image yet?
- Have seen folk do it. Saw one sell for ~52eth! A straight outputs from Dall-e. To me that's taking the piss.microkorg

At the Bored Ape restaurant, your ApeCoin is no good now
During a lull in the lunch rush one recent afternoon, as a cashier stamped paper bags with the fast-food spot’s logo, twin menus hanging over his head — listing Bored & Hungry’s meat-based and vegan options, respectively — showed prices only in old-fashioned U.S. dollars.
A smashburger: $9.25. Pepper-seasoned fries: $3.50. An ape-themed cup of soda: $3.50.
Missing: any mention of ethereum or apecoin, the two currencies the popup boasted it would make history by accepting as payment.
- That's just hilarious! What a scam all of this has been. "A sucker is born every second", as the saying goes.formed

"100 percent based on the Greater Fool Theory."
BILL GATES RUTHLESSLY MOCKS NFTS AS CRYPTO MARKET COLLAPSES
Speaking on Tuesday at a TechCrunch climate conference, the billionaire said that virtual coins and their non-fungible friends are "100 percent based on the Greater Fool Theory." That's an economic idea that, in short, refers to the buying and selling of over-hyped assets with little to no intrinsic worth, under the assumption that there will always be a "greater fool" to purchase that asset for even more money than initially paid.
- and I thought it was greater fools that bought Microsoft business products.microkorg
