Will these iWatches be waterproof like the iPhone6?
- CygnusZero40
The watches are water resistant, which means they can probably get sprinkled on in the rain a little and not cause a problem, but im pretty sure you cant submerge them in water.
Besides, ive always felt like they purposely leave out features that are totally doable, just to add that to the new feature list in the next model and give all their sheep fans reasons to upgrade.
We all know damn well they could have made this fully water proof. Buf if they did everything they possibly could with this first model, noone would have a reason to upgrade.
- And btw, I dont blame them for purposely leaving features out. Theyre trying to run a business.CygnusZero4
- they do this for everything since the beggining. it's called a business. it sux a lot for usbenfal99
- At what point do we call Android users the sheep? They are the majority now right?monospaced
- android is ahead of the game tho. not years behind like apple, so its different.CygnusZero4
- their fans still have a reason to be sheep. do we as apple fans? hardly.CygnusZero4
- I guess my prob with them leaving features out is they are so far behind right now in the features department.
CygnusZero4 - so why don't you go post about how awesome Android is instead of focusing on Apple?monospaced

Planned obsolescence.
- CygnusZero40
I guess my issue is they are leaving out little things. Android seems to get all the little shit right from the get go, and are actually adding real innovations with new models. With the iphone, you wait years toget a fucking camera timer lmao. And they actually show that off as a new feature in ios. Its incredible.
There shouldnt even be a need to mention that shit on their website if they were actually adding things the competition cant do, which should get the spotlight on the site. Ive always liked apple but they are seriously trailing behind on every front. They dont do a single thing thats actually THEIRS anymore. Its so hard to understand because they are making so much money, you would imagine their research department should be thriving but I guess it isnt for whatever reason.
- so buy one?monospaced
- an android watch that is, those all have the pressure sensitivy, make calls, have apple pay, etcmonospaced
- rarely agree with you Cygnus but this is so true.fadein11
- Planned obsolescence is why, what is so hard to understand about that...?set

It is pretty incredible. Mind boggling, really.
What's even more amusing is the way Apple doesn't really make anything new, yet gets credit for everything (and free publicity). Then they take the tools and make them much more refined, which feels "new".
Android, and PC makers for that matter, continue to release random items. It seems like they all have ADD - focus is on one thing, once, then it never gets refined. Why??
Apple wins because they refine. It's a great lesson, imho, and why the rest can't recognize it is beyond me. Make something quality and you don't have to remake it every 2 months.
I am still hopefull Android L will be great. iOS7, imho, is boring as hell. It works, its fine, but generic as possible. Again, Apple was lazy on design, but spent the time on the refinement.
Apple's hardware, though, continues to up the ante. If HTC could just keep refining their handsets, or even Moto X, I'd jump ship.
Ironically, the only feature I care about, is an actual Apple innovation - slow motion video. Why can't someone copy that?!?!
- I hope things continue to blur, Apple is so slow now, there is so much opportunity for others.formed
- And yet, just like PCs, continue to offer crappy hardwareformed
- crappy hardware? Apple hardware is often shit! Are you talking about build quality or hardware?fadein11
- build quality always great which is a great smokescreen and gives the lack of innovation the necessary sheen to sell shitloads.fadein11
- shitloadsfadein11
- People use one android device and lump them all together like it's one brand. There are very nice android handsets out there.set
- I didn't like the 5's but I have to admit from a materialist point of view the iphone 6 is desirableset
- Build quality. Yeah, there are good ones, but I want "great". No reason they can't just refine more.formed
- I could never go from latest android to ios7 though, it's literally terrible in comparison. Hopefully they come good with 8set
- the Surface is the only thing that really is getting refined, which is why I want oneformed
- HTC One, Sony Xperia Z range, LG G3, all *great* hardware. Far nicer than the iphone 5 imo.set

Once again they come up with a cool idea, slo-mo vid on your phone! Woops, oh sorry, this only works on iphone 5's, but wait til our next phone comes out, we swear this will actually be useful to average people!

I own 2 g-shock watches which are solar powered and I live in the Pacific Northwest and I have no problem at all. A freakin 45 watt light bulb will charge the fuckers.
