Oh. What do you know America is allowed to get involved finally and position boats where? Close to Russia, North Korea. Hmm.

CNN Breaking News: Reuters says military radar suggests Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 was "deliberately flown" toward Andaman Islands.
- CNN, great! Hundred of people must have learned that news, then.ETM

Possible connection to Chinese Uyghur minority movement, the guys who stabbed all those people at a train station recently;
http://english.astroawani.com/ne…
"A third source familiar with the investigation said inquiries were focusing increasingly on the theory that someone who knew how to fly a plane deliberately diverted the flight."
- apparently this circulated in Chinese media to some degree, but Uyghurs have denied it http://english.astro…mrrgl

comms were shut off and the last blip on military radar puts it way off course heading west. does that mean it could have been landed somewhere along route to andaman islands?
starting to sound more like hijacking

How do you land a plane that big without anyone knowing? I hope it's true and everyone's still alive but seems unlikely?
- CygnusZero40
They said that the andaman islands are controlled by the indian military. There is no way they landed there without anyone knowing. It sounds like it crashed off in the indian ocean.
They havent even been looking in the indian ocean until yesterday. Its huge, its very possible it crashed out there, too far out for debris to wash up on any shores yet.

Oh do shut up.

- Digging for news. They dont even know where the plane is!!! They sure as shit dont know what brought it down.CygnusZero4
- Because they may have landed it somewhere hidden. They may have just stolen the batteries.monospaced
- Yeah! quick land and dash,
grapple and tackle!teh

So the pilots take off, then turn off one comms system. Then a few minutes later they tell the tower they're all good, and shut off the last comms system as they diverge from the intended trajectory, and that was the last they found. Sounds like a plan to hijack the plane to me.

i thought that they said everything was good before the transponder was turned off. not sure, just assumed that when cnn it was the last communication from them, before anything went wrong.
- not the other way around. transponder off, then they said everything was ok.CygnusZero4

Investigators have also examined data transmitted from the plane’s Rolls-Royce engines that showed it descended 40,000 feet in the span of a minute, according to a senior American official briefed on the investigation. But investigators do not believe the readings are accurate because the aircraft would most likely have taken longer to fall such a distance.
“A lot of stock cannot be put in the altitude data” sent from the engines, one official said. “A lot of this doesn’t make sense.”
