Anyone install yet? Have any major issues with Adobe apps? Any migration issues in general?

THE VERY WORST OSX I'VE EVER SEEN!

Been running the public beta at home, and had no issues with Adobe apps. Been running fairly slow, but that's more down to my iMac being 5 years old (same under Mavericks).
Spotlight appearing in the middle of the screen takes a bit of getting used to, and I'd turn the transparency stuff off straight away.

ok, just installed it. So far everything works.
It feels a bit faster and snappier.

Just installed too. Was expecting some of my older apps to just pooch out entirely but they're still at it (Billings 3, Adobe CS6, etc.) I like the flatness ive been jonesin for it for a while now, so im glad to see it realized.

Feels fast, snappy and solid. safari is fast as hell too, great on battery life. I say jump in...

People use apple OSs when they first come out? Interesting. They never work right and nothing is quality tested before release. Might be a wise idea to wait a lil while.
- fair enough, they should probs run a beta program to help iron out issues beforehand to dealsprophetone

^ Every Apple thing I've owned has been a "first gen" release, and have had luck where it's all been A-okay. I think it's just a case of the loudest people in the room being the ones that are complaining.
- So you install new OSs and dont have problems with them? Riiiiggggghhhhtttttt...CygnusZero4

C'mon people that's what we have this thing called "beta" for. Even when I tried yosemite beta on my beater machine a couple of months ago it was stable aside from my wacom driver not working on it.
Now that I have the official on my work comp the only thing that stands out is with the dark menubar, one of my third party icons isn't white and that's because the vendor hasn't updated their icon yet. Hardly a showstopper.
When did we become such pussys?

I was just thinking it might be time to give Mavericks a go.

installed it on MacBook Pro. updated all apps incl. CC. aside from my personal opinions re: gas face ui elements, runs all goods.

Yeah it's a bit different lately now that Jobs is gone and they're doing full open public betas... its been in beta since june - i spent an hour before upgrading checking out all the software i used to see if it was compatible. Everything except one app was so i was hesitant but when i updated, even the one app I was worried about worked like a charm and it hasnt been updated in years.
- there were betas in Jobs' day toomonospaced
- like open open tho?mantrakid
