I saw at least 5 different firework displays.
- I didn't even see one.dropdown
- I was in Toronto last night though. In Ottawa I would've seen a few, I think.juhls
- If I left the house...juhls
- you didn't leave the house on a nice long week-end? What's wrong?dropdown
- I was in Toronto :)juhls
- oh so you did leave the house?dropdown
- How was T.O?dropdown
- Of course :)
I just mean I saw more fireworks because I was in T.O.juhls - It was nice, but it went by rather quickly. It sounds like yours went by quite well with the poutine :)juhls

I had a pretty decent week-end. Got a lot of face time with my deck and plenty of beverages. Opened my pool, though it was way too damn cold to get in myself, so I had the dog use it all week-end. BBQ'd every meal including breakfasts. Got to see a pilot buddy of mine who is visiting while in transition to his next vocation in Aruba... I hate that dick.

Before i had even heard of poutine (sorry for the added "l"up there^) i was putting cottage cheese in a bowl and pouring beef gravy on it when i worked at a diner in a college town. Holy CRAP that is good. All i was missing was the fries (ironic since i was making a bucketful of those every day too)
- gravy: check
fries: check
cottage cheese curds: oh OH god no!
7point34 - cottage cheese seems like it would be too runny for gravy no?dropdown
- depends. you can always drain the weigh (liquidy stuff) off before adding the gravylocustsloth
- gravy: check

I just realized it probably looks like I am attacking Spooky all the time. I think he's so opinionated about most things that we clash, primarily because sometimes he's joking and other times he's being completely serious. And I don't always pick up on which is which. I'm the same way, except I'm opinionated about having the in-between opinion.
- < I'm a weirdo :)juhls
- Or I care about being nice to people, (usually) no matter what they like to do. Also could be a weakness.juhls
- juhls, you live at home correct? is it safe to assume you don't have a mortgage to pay or any such other outrageous bills?7point34
- this is probably where the majority of your personalities clash.7point34
- though i doubt he was targeting you directly, i think he was grumbling about the younger generation not having the responsibility of the older7point34
- .. the responsibilities that the older generation does.7point34
- you'll probably find yourself buying less as you get older. less disposable income, more interest in purchasing one...7point34
- ... quality piece over 10 average pieces.7point34

7.34, I think you're completely right about that younger generation idea. I was going to bring it up, but thought I would be taking the whole thing even more personally and the discussion would go on forever.
Anyway, yeah, I think digdre is the same way, although I don't care for toys. I know a lot of people who love that stuff though, so....who knows.
I do help my parents with the bills and buying things for the house, but I don't pay the "most important" bills. I am relied on by my family for certain things, but I've been lucky enough to have a couple of steady jobs over these past few years and I haven't had to worry about every single bill and taking care of larger expenses for children like most adults do.

I pay for nearly everything I own (including my school expenses), except for meals and major bills. As a family, we try to help each other out, but obviously the stress of worrying about bills is not on my shoulders.
