I have been away on serious pain-killers for a couple of days. What did I miss? I see “he” is in the Blog thread now, and people are being civil. WTF?!?!
- its like a tumor. if you ignore it, it goes away.emukid
- you missed less of "them". are you feeling better?Jaline
- Yes, much better, thanks. Pulled the muscles in my back.MrOneHundred

I suppose I could go and help my bro break tiles. New hardwood flooring is coming tomorrow.
- excellent anger management********
- I am pulling up carpets this weekend, if my back is up to it. 1 month till move-in!!!!!!!!!!MrOneHundred
- yaay. I totally understand what you mean by anger management, but it's also infuriating when a tile won't breakJaline
- but still...kind of fun until your arms get tired.Jaline

I wish I could dog ear' away all the pointlessness. I literally moved my mouse to do it and then realized the impossibility of it. I'm a little sleepy too.
- It's been getting ridiculous around here. Last night was just a pointless pissing match with the whole Nike thinglocustsloth
- I agree. Worst I've experienced. It's basically the trolls left to themselves._salisae_
- hopefully they're sensitive like tumors and will go away after we ignore them._salisae_
- can you ignore away a tumor? that's great news!********

Seriously though, if you guys have all IM’d each other and are hanging out someplace else while I have been MIA, please clue me in.
- Unless I am one of the tumors that disappear when ignored.MrOneHundred

Just got back from a group dinner with Credit Suisse CEO Brady Dougan. I had the roasted duck entrée.

Reading:
Basic Typography (John R. Biggs)
Photojournalism (Life)
Advanced Photography (Michael Langford)and not Jane Eyre.
- hahah, good call. Although I don't think it would hurt to read school-related stuff. Just to maybe know more than others...Jaline
- (but really, I hardly read anything and still did well on essays. a lot of it is common sense)Jaline
- Yeah, it's just a really boring book.omgitsacamera
- i faked my way through many a book in middle and high school. Didn't read one all the way thru until 10th gradelocustsloth
- It's only Jane Eyre and a mystery (Sherlock Holmes) that I actually have to read. The three are just to so I have the book knowledge.omgitsacamera
- I read Sherlock Holmes as well. Must be part of the canon.Jaline

My hand is very sore now. My bro is awesome at tearing things apart and fixing them again. It's strangely stereotypical. Anyway, we got about half of it done. My dad and my bro may have to get the rest of the tiles off tomorrow. I have work :/
So much to do before my camping trip this weekend. I still don't have any of the gear...

Pecha Kucha was actually pretty good. It seems every time I go to Cooper Union, people talk about their ideas forever and ever but have little interesting or well crafted pieces to show for it. This was the opposite; lots of great work, but many of the presenters had almost nothing to say. Some of them were very funny though (Rick Griffith was great).
- This of course was not at Cooper Union... (Buffalo, NY)ismith

Has anyone ever thought of doing a kind of treasure hunt with the public voice? Like someone posts a thread with the first clue, which leads you to some note on some long forgotten thread, which leads you to another note on a long forgotten thread and eventually ends up at some note that gives you hedge's bank account number or some other "prize" like that
- The prize would have to something real, though.MrOneHundred
- Absolutely. Hell i've been waiting all this time for another sanctioned PSB to win a prize.locustsloth
- zeus/alpha omega did this a bunch, only with his own posts, in which he'd reveal secrets of the universe...Greedo

So I saw this guy with a black shirt that had the BART system map on it. Pretty cool, seeing I have the same shirts for the Paris Metro and the Underground.
I can't seem to find it, and this is not the one. (One I saw had no background, just the lines.)
