And to temper my initial joy, I am now forced to fix a scene in Maxwell Render - quite possible the worst program on this or any other planet. Designed by people who, on the face of it, have to remind themselves to continue breathing and only capable of producing renders that look like absolute SHIT. It boils my piss to even look at the thing.
Kids, if someone runs up to you and says '...hey, this Maxwell Render is the bee knees! Gee whizz, it is sure is great!'. Send them over to uncle face_melter and he'll fucking sort them out on a few things.

So I used to drink like a mad man. (I guess I still do)
I've decided to ease off the throttle and not drink for a while, can't say its a big thing. I don't really crave drinking, I can't say it ever really made me feel great. As I got older the hangovers became unbearable. Mostly it was habit.
Today I went to the Farmers Open Golf Tournament in Torrey Pines. I went with 2 friends who are federal agents, they have that cliquey thing going were all the guys go out and get wasted, fish, golf, etc. They do this from their early 20s, to fucking late 50s.
I actually saw a guy last year on a fishing trip who was a senior dude, he was plastered. it seemed semi normal at the time... 3 weeks later the guy committed suicide...Anyway, thats not the point of my story. Today, I had to fucking endure a full day of baby sitting 2 grown men determined to drink themselves into rock bottom stupidity. And after the tournament, straight to the bar.
I was fucking stuck with them because we rode together and I was driving.
It was fucking horrible, the absolute stupidity. The arguments!!! the interaction with sober people, the interaction with service people, the non stop conversation about their job, this country, and their service to it. uuuuggghhhh fucking kill me.
I know now what kind of douchebag I have been. I sat there in disbelief. All I was thinking about was how I didn't want to drink and how I hoped I would never be that guy again.
But I probably will... fucking degenerate drunks, get a therapist. lol
- i was a daily drinker until a couple weeks ago when i tripped on a garden hose and chipped a tooth. woke up on the floor with blood all over mescarabin
- been sober since, had a sudden burst of creativity and have been getting loads of work done, been spending time at the gym and have been feeling greatscarabin
