After my last adventures in QBN I will try to stay away from controversial themes and threads.
My latest post in the EURO thread just showed me how I can let myself go...need to put a brake on it.
Trying to focus more in the "useful" threads and discuss less.
I hereby apologize to all that might have felt targeted and (butt)hurt by my words.
The father of a friend of mine used to say that there's three things he doesn't discuss with other people:
Politics, Football and Religion.
Well, there's a few more controversial themes than that I might say.
I do care about social, political, economic and religious issues.
And with actions not just words.Oh! And Science! Mucho Science!

Probably true as it was the lowest paying position I have shown interest in.The following day, the agency (30ish clients) offered me 7K more. We're supposed to finalize next week. Cool.
A fourth, more appealing offer has joined the discussion however, I received a phone call this afternoon...
The position is in-house management of 3 high end glass based architectural brands complete with logo / identity redesign of each.
They are admittedly last century and are not wanting quick fixes. They aim to visually strengthen their core brands then begin a coordinated marketing effort.
We have a meeting Tuesday morning and the offer is 2-5K higher than the agency.
Report to one person, manage 3 sister brands. Ideal.

Biked 58 miles today. 37 miles from Chicago to Three Floyds brewery in Indiana, gorged on great food and had a couple beers, then rode 13 miles to another brewery and the train station, back to downtown Chicago, and then 6.5 miles to home. Burned about 3,700 calories. Totally spent now.
