Found my old prize, unplayed with and still in it's box, from a Mojo Magazine Quiz Night back in 2005 at the Hard Rock Cafe in London. I remember meeting some folks there that night for the first time that I am still friends with. I don't think our team actually won the competition but it was good fun and I gotta free Transit Van (toy) out of it!

Tattooing seems fun. Anybody try it?

You can get an entire setup for the price of one tattoo. Dickbutts for all your friends.

I believe I have all the essential tools needed for a great kitchen except for one - a Le Creuset 8 QT Dutch oven. Does anyone have any experience with off-brand alternatives? I’m not sure if I am willing to spend $400 at the moment.

    • This is one instance where you should pay the 400. Archaeologists will find thing a thousand years from now, and it will still be perfectly usable.Continuity
    • Definitely a case of getting what you pay for.Continuity

    Sakura-con is this weekend.

It's an anime con with a historically horrific ad campaign that has been memed to death and back.

    I usually go with a camera, do some people-watching / freak-pointing.

But this year I'm going all in: I have a creepy basketball mask. I'd put good money on somebody asking me what series I'm from.

The conversation you provided features various users discussing different topics, including religion, belief in higher power, the impact of historical figures like Columbus, grit and resilience, immigration, sexual abuse, and sexual orientation. The conversation includes debates about the influence of history on current values and beliefs, the significance of cultural and religious figures, and the implications of various practices and ideologies.

    - Can you provide the cliffs notes? Anything I should be aware of for later conversation?

    In this conversation, users discussed:

Religion, higher power, and belief in God.
The impact of historical figures like Columbus.
The concept of grit and resilience.
Immigration and hardships faced by immigrants.
Sexual abuse and its potential influence on sexual orientation.
Controversial topics related to societal issues and cultural practices.

For future conversations, be aware that the discussion touched on sensitive topics, and some opinions expressed may be controversial or offensive to some.

    - Did anyone say anything outrageous? I feel like you're not telling me anything

Apologies if the summaries provided were not detailed enough. The conversation did have some provocative and potentially offensive statements. Here are a few notable examples:

A user claimed that an overwhelming number of gay males were molested as children, which others disputed and criticized.

A user compared the belief in God to thinking one is a different gender, sparking further debate.

One user questioned why the name "British Colombia" should be changed, and others brought up the controversial history of Christopher Columbus.

A user made a controversial remark about Muslims in British Columbia being fascinated with a "war-mongering child pedophile named Mouhamed."

These statements and others contributed to a heated conversation with various opinions, some of which may be considered outrageous or offensive.

    - Who was the nice guy?

It's difficult to single out a "nice guy" from the conversation provided, as multiple participants were involved, and many of the topics discussed were controversial, leading to heated exchanges.

    - But who was nice?

It is challenging to determine who was "nice" based on the conversation provided, as the discussion primarily focused on controversial topics, and many participants engaged in heated debates. If you could provide more context or specific examples, I could try to help identify the person you are referring to.

    - if someone was rude, was another user more kind?

In the conversation provided, jagara appeared to be relatively more kind and less confrontational compared to other users. Jagara expressed their belief in "something else" like life after death, without forcing their beliefs on others, and maintained a more neutral tone throughout the discussion.
