I heard about a Cake Smash shoot for the first time yesterday. You put a baby in front of a cake and let it splash in the food with their hands. This is then photographed. A really different world.

Okay, so i smoke (very limited amounts of) pot now. At 46 years old, I discover the concept of not blending in tobacco (which most people do here in joints). I learned this from a Snoop Dogg interview, of all places. Pot (ang cannabis generally) never really worked for me, It would make me sick 9 out of 10 times. So I've been avoiding it.
I got a one-hitter pipe (thanks PonyBoy!).
And now it works. I actually get pleasantly high without the side effects (i know, weed differs, got some good stuff, I guess). Walked around my hood in the spring sunshine yesterday, blissed out. listening to Boards Of Canada.
I have a new thing i can enjoy in moderation. Great success.
Next, I'll try that "meth" thing people seem to recommend.

I've been working on some new project where i'm transferring documents from one interactive service (Pagertiger) to another (Ceros). I do like the new system, but there are too many issues when transferring and it's taking me ages to get through even one document. There's tons to get through. It's stressing me out as I wanna do a good job, but this is not why i got into graphic design. I'm almost about to flip out and just quit, but I know that would be a bit daft as I have bills to pay. My car also fucked up the other week, which i rely on to get into work. Ive started getting migraines again. And Im feeling completely anti-social at the moment.
Just airing off some stress. Maybe I should've just put this in my journal instead of on here - but it's driving me nuts. Deeeeeeep breaths!

From the age of 8 or 9, every winter I was able to spend at least two weeks skiing in the Polish Tatras. We were not at all wealthy, my grandparents paid for the trip, so I always had the cheapest rental skis and boots on my feet. I just looked at those kids who had the most expensive, coolest gear and clothes, but they weren't any better than me. In the second or maybe third year, one of the teachers asked me if I wanted to ski like the adults, and I said yes. He took one of my skis and for a week we spent 3-4 hours every day practicing with alternating legs. I didn't even knew that what I was studying was called parallel skiing. Meanwhile, I learned how to wax and polish my worn out gear so that it would slide as if it were new. The following year, despite the fact that my stuff was still completely lame, I felt really cool because everyone was interested in where I learned to ski so professionally.
Those few rich kids were angry that I was able to do it so easily while they were still coming down the mountain in snowplough in their expensive new gear. Since then I know that the most expensive and coolest looking things are not necessarily the best, and I decide what is right for me.
