I constantly use command-tab and command-tilde to cycle through open applications on my mac. I really like the command-tilde which allows me to go backward.
How does one go backward on a Windows machine? Is this even possible?
- alt tab / alt shift tabmonNom
- ^ awesome ^ thank you ^stoplying
- shift also works to go back with the tab. I use this constantly. You can do it WHILE holding a file to execute a slick drag drop from finder to a browser or appmonospaced

cont. Baboons topic.
Two links (spanish, sorry) related to what I mentioned in the side note about the baboon sanctuary in Uruguay where they went out of control in 2011... Really fucked up!
"When keepers come in to clean the cage, feed them, or remove any of the monkeys that have died, they respond aggressively. They communicate, they become extremely aggressive and attack in a pack; It is extremely dangerous, said the park director."

Does anyone remember that really popular blog that I believe was also a print magazine with interviews with designers, photographers, creative, etc.?

https://en.eurovelo.…palimpsest - Holy crap. Here I was thinking I was cool living next to a 27 mile bike highway. Americans, so arrogant.garbage
- To be fair, I don't think we have that bike highway equivalent. The EuroVelo network is a series of connected roads. Very commie, very anti-American.palimpsest
- The EV7 uses Prague's A2 which is only 31km long or 2,897 school buses.
https://www.prahanak…palimpsest - lol, love the measurements. How fast does that bad boy go?garbage

Going downhill I get up to 114,286 pizza boxes per hour but because I'm riding the brakes. Not a fan of speed.palimpsest - And it's also a very old bike that needs some servicing. I've only taken up riding because I'm not sure I'll be able to go backpacking this summer.palimpsest

40km = 25mi
But your math might be right, I asked ChatGPT to make the 'murican conversions and didn't check.palimpsest - *I was aiming for.palimpsest
- I'm aiming for 100km a day if I have to go bikepacking. That's 55,556 bike lenghts in American. : )palimpsest

An amazing collection of Hendrix, Stones, Donovan and blues albums in this weeks local auction. One of the coolest is this redacted copy of Jimi Hendrix's Electric Ladyland with it's fully laminated early Polydor nude sleeve beautifully covered in early 70's wallpaper! (thankfully not glued on) It is sitting in the middle of the pile, I've left a commission bid, fingers x

Summer time again..
I sit here in my office as I listen to the distant sound of children screaming in torment. One by one, as each name is called, followed by cries of pure agony.
Now they have to get jobs..

I scan the faulty drive, see the files, but when I try to recover them, they are all 0 bytes. Am I fucked here? Doing something wrong?thanks in advance

I've listened to a couple of interviews with Kevin Spacey this week. Loved some of his films. Who thinks he deserves to be broke, defending against allegations that were never substantiated? Is this another Louis CK case where they're now forever seen as sex offenders because they did something society deems perverted, manipulative or opportunistic? Who knows what really goes on during intimate situations between two people behind closed doors.
- It's a good reflection. Many people envy fame and money, but the truth is, the older I am, the less I envy the lives of the famous and/or wealthy...OBBTKN
- Louis CK said we all have our 'thing'. Who defines perversions? His joke was "even Obama knows his 'thing' now. He's now demonised for something we all haveIanbolton
