Who was the bonehead that made that product up?
I can picture this old fart documenting what company picnic tables and ledges are being used for .

The stoppers look pretty dangerous! One might snag their slacks on them quite easily!
Nothing worse than a business man with snagged slacks!

incorporate skatestoppers products into tricks. "Hey Ricky watch me 50/50 that curb and then kick a nollie off of that frog."

god, this is ridiculous. i heard that they teach skate stop techniques in some architecture schools.
my cousin is an architect, and when he gets full creative freedom, he throws in a little metal curb, or a little transition. hahahhahaha.

"I don't wake up every day with the intention of ruining some kid's afternoon," he said. "If we weren't doing this, somebody else would."

why dont you make your own shit to skate on?
drop a couple grand and put some cement and metal stuff in your backyard. it will be cool. until of course a few months from now when everyone in the town is skating in your backyard ruining what you spent your time and money on, then you can come here and post about it and we'll support you as you stand on the other side of the fence too.

You realise of course, kona, that 7-ply maple and aluminum don't really do much damage to marble and concrete, right?
Most of the Architects and planners I know have more of a problem with what skatestopper do to ruin a good design, than having skaters around-- hell we had a symposuim here a few years ago where architects were proposing ways to accomodate skaters in the design of new buildings-- that's much smarter design than an ugly little sliver of aluminum.
