I said above that I only did that in skateparks (I was fortunate enough to have a few in my area) and on ramps we built on our own.
We borrowed (ok stole) a few old railroad rails from the train yard and whatever else and made our own stuff.
I guess where I grew up they were a little more strict with guys riding on public stuff. My buddies got busted all the time.
And I had a guard over my chainwheel made of rubber and feathers so I wouldn't mess stuff up. :)

Haha. It was old stuff they had torn off old tracks. Only one we got was even close to being straight.

every rail or ramp i ever built was probably made with stolen wood from a construction site.... shhhhhh

The ideal thing here is to have a small launch ramp at an angle to slide or grind the high rounded red metal back!
