Feminism is the answer???
http://www.upworthy.com/people-f…- Interesting, although men are generally bigger and stronger so it's hardly a fair testset
- I imagine a similar reaction would happen between a small man and a huge man fightingset
- or a kid vs adult. Though sure, violence is wrong in most circumstances regardless of size.set
- but if someone looks far more capable of defending themselves, of course others won't feel as much need to do it for them...set
- do it for them...set
- never ever doubt the length a white knight would go to justify violence toward another persongeorgesIII
- as usual georges you nail home a semi-point with sheer unfathomable imprecision..set
- are you actually suggesting I'm trying to justify violence with my comments? What planet are you on?set
- it's going to come to the point where I simply stop responding to you, you clearly lack any sanity or intelligence at allset
- and why do you insist on bringing race in to everything? Utterly lost and troubled individual.set

I'm not even sure we watched the same video where when the man is getting beat up, people laugh and are cheering and there's even one guy that hits the guy while the girl hits him.. but as soon as it's the contrary, it's perfectly fine to save the damsel in distress..I responded to the video and only to the video:
"never ever doubt the length a white knight would go to justify violence toward another person"1,2,3 go, set effect,
because apparently all messages left on this board are directed toward him, sighas usual georges you nail home a semi-point with sheer unfathomable imprecision..

WTF?- the video I'm referencing is right above this message in case you haven't seen itgeorgesIII

haha.
Georges. It is little wonder people misunderstand you when you constantly spew out unintelligible semi-sentences. I can't speak for anyone else but 90% of the time I have no clue what point you're trying to make. It's just endless race, gender waffle. You call others social justice warriors but I cannot find another member more fitting to the term than you.
You seem surprised that I thought your comment was directed at me, when it came directly after my own comment and was in line with the usual shit you direct towards me.
- ??? as I said before I do not care one iota about you, now if you can't discute a subject without always going full emo, it ain't my faultgeorgesIII
- faultgeorgesIII
- haha, excuse me? You're above post counts for more than one iota, I would suggest.set
- I'd say I give about 6 iotas about youset

Guy's, chill out. It's only a video with actors in it, trying to solved a flawed argument. Feminism is still not the answer.

haha I misunderstood. I was going to apologise for misunderstanding Georges but that would be like apologising to the sky for being rained on.
- people I was going to apologise, I just couldn't unstuck my head out of my ass and stop thinking that I was the center of the worldgeorgesIII
- but I was, I swear, I was...
pleeeease.georgesIII - SJW, Whiteknight idfk... Maybe I don't spend enough time on reddit.set
- lol georges you funnyset
- name me 5 prominent feminists from the second wave and tell me why you believe they are from equality..georgesIII
- troubled but funnyset
- ad hominem, the lowest of all bait, but what can I expect from someone that is constantly guided by his emotionsgeorgesIII
- lolset
- Yea you don't seem emotionally invested in any of this, haha.set
- I'm showing how feminism was hijacked by people like you, the constantly offended, so how does it feel to always be angry?georgesIII
- haha oh georges. I'm perfectly calm here, laughing and typing. Do you not realise how angry you sound?set
- I'm not offended at all, I just find humour in pointing out your bizarre assumptions about others...set
- you're a social justice is warrior in every sense of the word, and fail to see it. I'm entertained, not angry or offended.set

Sometimes feminists send mixed messages. If you open the door for her you've robbed her of agency and put her in a position of dependence, but if you don't open the door for her you hate women. If you act on your socialization and turn public space into a man's space by commenting on women there, you're harassing her, but if a woman acts on her socialization by dressing and behaving in a way to attract men's attention in public, well that's her free expression (that just happens to conform to prevailing beauty standards) and shame on you for looking.

I'm happy, he didn't run away from his house after those twitter death treats!!
Johnny says: “It was ridiculous, they were like a dog with a bone. It kicked off on Twitter and all of a sudden we were being compared to Islamic State. People were making me out to be some sort of club-wielding Neanderthal who goes home and beats his wife up.
“But 99 per cent of women think it’s a great idea – it’s just one per cent of Left-wing idiots. Most of these women seem to spend all their time trying to emasculate men.
“People were calling me a pig and all because we don’t allow ladies in for a service we don’t provide, but we’re not trained to do their hair. What’s the problem?"

He doesn't want women in his shop and he's a monster, but women vandalizing it and sticking bloody tampons through the door aren't, somehow. That's the "feminism" people have a problem with.
- ya... modern day feminism seem to whine about trivial stuffs...pango
- He's a monster for not wanting to cunt women's hair? Or he's banned them from even coming in?set
- HAHA cut*set
- The article says they're welcome to enter and buy vouchers (I guess gift cards) but they don't cut women's hair.i_monk
- What the fucks wrong with that? Most places are either men our women, no?set
- I've never in all my years seen a women having her hair cut in a barbersset
- Rubbish phone typing there sorryset

In fact, non-students are 25 percent more likely to be victims of sexual assault than students, according to the data. And the real number of assault victims is several orders of magnitude lower than one-in-five.
Emphasis added by me.
The full study, which was published by the Bureau of Justice Statistics, a division within DOJ, found that rather than one in five female college students becoming victims of sexual assault, the actual rate is 6.1 per 1,000 students, or 0.61 percent (instead of 1-in-5, the real number is 0.03-in-5). For non-students, the rate of sexual assault is 7.6 per 1,000 people.
The full data is here (pdf link). It has a few interesting points.
http://www.bjs.gov/content/pub/p…Figure 3. The data combines threats, sexual assaults, attempted rapes, and completed rapes. Note that when the data is broken down, college students not only have lower victimization rates than non-students, a significantly smaller percentage (33% vs 40%) of their victimizations were actually completed rapes.
Table 3. Note that in college, rape of males is actually worse than it is outside of college, a reversal of the female statistics. Fully one sexual assault out of every six on a college campus, the victim is MALE.
Table 7. The vast majority of the time (95%), the assault is carried out by a single offender, as opposed to "two or more" or "unknown number." Unfortunately the DOJ stats didn't include a category for "eight attackers, all in the same fraternity," so that we could see how rare those were.
Table 8. The percentage of respondents who didn't report because they were "advised not to" is so rare as to be unmeasurable, statistically speaking.

The Fire Department has stopped requiring probationary firefighters to pass a job-related physical-skills test before getting hired — a move that critics derided as a lowering of standards.
The move by first-year Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro, which allows probies to fail components of the Functional Skills Training test but still graduate from the Fire Academy, comes amid criticism of the department’s low hiring rate of women.
“It’s a lowering of the standards across the board,” said one former FDNY official familiar with training protocol.
“What needs to matter is how well you perform the tasks of firefighting,” he added. “The question is when you’re 270 pounds and you’re on the fourth floor and someone comes through that window — can they pick you up and drag you out or not?”
