I'd love to go windsurfing, but it will be just me and my 4year old son traveling. He can't swim and I can't let him out of my sight.

my wife and i were in kaanapali in september and spent most of our time there and lahaina. never made it to the north side of the island. have a lot of fun there though. it's such an amazing place.
if it were me i'd look into some easy trail bike rides and take him to the volcano. he'll probably love it. don't waste your time with the hidden pools trip, it's boring and crowded. hidden my ass.
have fun. be safe.

I'm heading to Maui with my 4year old son for a week. I've been to Maui about 5 times but mostly while I was young and not the one planning an itinerary.
I've usually stayed near Kaanapali or Nipili. This time, I'll be styaing near Paia on the North Shore. Any suggestions on activities, food, etc. are more than welcome. I'll have a car. Thanks!
