Most of that ACORN stuff scares me way more than Ayers. A lot of the things I've read were obviously right-wing attacks but there are a few sensible articles out there about it. It's just interesting that Obama hasn't really stood out with voting. Can't find any papers written by him from Harvard Law School. It's like he's flown under the radar. Just seems odd and I hope to hell he's exactly what he seems to be. We need a few good presidential terms to follow these last decades.

it sounds like Bill Ayers needs to get together with Todd and Sarah Palin, since they are also interested in breaking up the US States as recently as a year ago...
also, Since McCain was/is close to Strom Thurmond and Robert Byrd, maybe the Republicans and fire up the KKK and start up a race riot.

Wow mikotondria3. I mean should we not do a better job of being skeptical of the people who are elected to the most important job on earth? I know that a lot of people on this board are for Obama (obviously) but I think it's good to have a healthy discussion so we can all learn a bit more no? Can't we be respectful of that? Or is this the Obama parade where dissenters are deemed un-worthy of opinion? I think each of us could stand to learn a bit more and be more respectful of each other.

They say that your political preferences are determined fairly early in life. Gen Xers, who grew up during the 80s, tend to be more right wing. While people who grew up and went to college during the Bush years are overwhelmingly Democrat, for obvious reasons.
