Dark fucking times, America.
I know robo and others will defend this as no big deal. To those I ask, does this really benefit America? Is the cost of this to your fellow citizens worth the outcomes?
Is the loss of liberty and citizens' fear of government really worth the supposed gains you imagine getting from this unconstitutional enforcement?
- robo & co. don't care about 'fellow citizens', or America for that matter. Fear is what they live for. Fear and hate. As long as they can carry a pitch fork.formed
- @formed you forgot maniacal self preservation ;)renderedred
- As one of the 4 people a color here on qbn, I don't like racist label "robo & co." I prefer "El más Chingón y mis Compadres"robotron3k
- There used to be 5 of us but someone ran off Georgesrobotron3k
- Robo's deflection tactic here speaks volumes.nb
- How quickly you would give up liberty so that someone else cannot have it. Shame on you.nb
- fuckin' a! robo, nobody ran off Georges to begin with. Secondly don't accuse people of being racist when they're definitely not.renderedred
- You guys really short circuit when yo hablo Español... hard to believe Latinos are generally conservative. The people being removed have lost their caserobotron3k
- And ignoring the leave order. This is not rocket science, don't you guys read instead of jumping to conclusions. They also return, so this ain't no big whoop...robotron3k
- Also nb & co. being arrested is NOT a big deal. Change my mind.robotron3k

- oh robomonospaced
- Honestly I think the U.S. media is making too big a deal out of this. Raids to deport people staying illegally in the country who were already ordered to leave?yuekit
- The hysteria allows Trump to look like super tough anti-immigrant guy, and Democrats to fundraise, when really it's just the same thing previous presidents did.yuekit
- all media hype. first quote bias shows it. point is to portray a reality that isn't really true. Didn't even try to provide lame stats says something.********
- not buying the fear portrayal. but am curious how ID and passports workout because states are different. CA illegals can have driver licenses, NV can't fly********
- without real ID or providing passport. better journalism might work such things into articles and how state rules hinder or cause more drastic measures********
- a fair and balanced judgement of ID's and how multiple bureaucratic offices must approach based on another set of rules determined outside organizations...********
- there is truth to that. my buddies wife was detained at texas border after visiting family in mexico. she fit a profile and had to go through all the red tape********
- to prove she is a legal citizen. that kind of inconvenience comes from broken over complicated system. however not concerned with passports or ice raids.********

The Democrats really don't seem to have a horse in this race so I was thinking who the Dems needed to beat PDT, maybe someone like a Huey Long. This guy was full on Democrat Socialist Populist Dictator from Louisiana in the 1930s. He scared the shit out of the Govt, the way he spoke. He would have been President easily if he wasn't assassinated. I pulled up one of his (drunk) firebrand speeches and I couldn't believe my ears, he's saying the same message 80 years ago, this guy could be the Democrat front runner today...
- Why would you think that Democrats want a dictator like the right? Personally, I value freedom, individual rights and equality. The right clearly does not.formed
- lol, robo's just realised ideological struggles aren't a recent thing.fadein11

Lolita Express?
What We Know About Jeffrey Epstein’s Private Jet, the ‘Lolita Express’
https://www.thecut.com/2019/07/j…
According to this week’s indictment, Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse of dozens of minors mostly occurred at his residences in Manhattan and Palm Beach, but another critical setting for his predatory activities was on his private Boeing 727 plane, a midsize, three-engine commercial jet airliner nicknamed the “Lolita Express.” He allegedly used the plane to shuttle underage girls between New York and Palm Beach, and an employee would be onboard to “ensure that minor victims were available for encounters upon his arrival.”
- Dunno y didn't he just live permanently out of the country like diddler Arthur C. Clarke!?robotron3k

as long as people are hung up on the "waste of money" that is taking care of first responders for 9/11, should be a good time to revisit the multi-billion dollar fuck-up that is a war plane that still doesn't work

Let’s just say, “fuck it” and let the world burn.
- Half the country did just then when they voted for Trump.monospaced
- trump was just the status quo sickness.. but mostly liberal media control backfiring toward profit taking. They found they could make more money with trump********

FNP14,
I saw my doctor for a physical today and talked about the anxiety I've been having and how addicted I am to news and information and keeping up with politics. She didn't have a solution for how to disconnect from it, but suggested meditation to at least help get my nerves down to a more manageable level, so that political stress doesn't always put me over the edge.
Fact is, I just don't know how to not care to the degree I do. I feel like if I were to miss a day of news and staying on top of stuff, I'd be behind. I envy people who can avoid it all, but if I were to be that person I feel like I'd become the political apathy I rail about so much these days.

A funny little report which only touches on really how much is spent. Wish i kept my indesign report file
But costs about 90K per year to create a 25hr(roughly 50K) job. The report also doesn't measure growth and pains of such little tax revenue for the growth in the community and infrastructure and how it is all effected.
I actually believe people think its moral to spend 90K of collective funds to pay for a 50K job. I don't think they care enough bigger picture than their dopamine hit of good intentions. But for it to be the popular reaction says so much and more than likely goes back to following pedestals at education levels. Clearly logically unsustainable but regarded as good. That shit is dogmatic belief. I dont even have much hope people will wake up here because too many immigrants from CA hoping they can have their cake and eat it too.
