American campaign discourse seems to be “look how big my candidate’s rally is. This is proof we’ll win”. It’s weird. But I guess when voters are ultra-polarized there isn’t much else to discuss? Anyway, American politics makes me sad
- But the difference is the Harris campaign is joking about it at Trump's expense. Isn't that immediately obvious?CyBrainX
- nothing is immediately obvious to a trump supporterimbecile
- Uhhh they’re all joking? https://x.com/kamala… is this tweet a joke?nb
- Her campaign is even using Trump language. “Some are calling...” Are y’all saying this is meant to be a joke? I don’t get itnb
- They are just trying to strike a nerve with Trump.dbloc
- They're trolling Trump because it's making him more unhinged. If you watched the entirety of the Arizona rally, crowd size was not the main focus.garbage
- "They are just trying to strike a nerve with Trump." - dbloc
it seems to be workingimbecile - Oh ok. Trolling Trump while showing people you have support makes sense. Not really a “joke” though.nb
- Btw if you search twitter for Harris rally, all the top tweets are about crowd size.nb
- it's okay nb, you can keep supporting trump. your decision to hate everyone else is on you. silly how you want to lump H/W supporters into something to attackimbecile
- you don't like the word weird? you don't like harris making fun of trump? people don't like pussy grabbing racists buddying up to putin fawning over fascismimbecile
- nb the kind of patriot to want his face eaten to make sure a kid doesn't get a free lunch https://i.imgur.com/…imbecile
- I don’t support Trump. Never have, never will.nb
- But false equivalencies are one of the biggest things that got us Trump in the first place.CyBrainX
- I think the dems should avoid mentioning crowd size.monospaced
- I don't think a jab hurts, but then actually talk policy which is exactly what they're doing. It's clearly getting to him.garbage
- It’s simply persuasion. The size of a crowd reflects popularity. No one wants to vote for the unpopular person who can’t draw a crowd.IRNlun6
- I think once or twice it's ok. Especially the time Walz was talking about it while laughing.CyBrainX
- and "I'll debate if he's ready to get off the couch." was damn funny.CyBrainX
- @garbage of course it hurts. He, and his cult, are whiny little babies that just complain and try to brag with lies. So yeah, reality kinda hurts.formed
- crowd size doesn't reflect popularity, it only reflects their willingness to rally as a group. Also, nobody needs a leader who draws crowds. Totally irrelevant.monospaced
