So what's up with the opening... Season 5, Episode 1? Hank gets that crazy gun. And it happens to be the same, if not very similar weapon of choice by Al Pacino in Scarface. Then they're watching Scarface in the living room an episode ago.
Foreshadowing to a final stand?

A coworker has a really good idea: Now that Walt Jr. is staying with Hank and Marie, he mentioned that he has a photo with Walt Sr. wearing the Heisenberg hat. Maybe Hank sees that photo and remembers the Heisenberg sketch and something clicks.
Now, I'm not sure the police have that sketch though. I read through some old reviews, and the only place it's mentioned is when " In the opening scene, a group of Mexicans, including two superscary hit men (Daniel and Luis Moncada, featured in the video clip above), crawl on the dirt toward a shrine, where they post a drawing of Heisenberg/Walt. Say what? Show runner Vince Gilligan explains that this is a ritual of "hardcore adherents to the Santa Muerte religion" (favored by drug dealers and gangers), and placing Walt's likeness among the skeletal figures proclaims him as their target."
I'm not sure the police have ever seen that.

It will be Walt Jr's birthday, and he'll still be living with Hank.
After a brief bonding moment when they butchly talk about The Soprano's in the morning, on his way home Hank will go into BestBuy and talk to the skinny guy in the DVD section, who will recommend a vaguely similar crime drama. From the description Hank seems intrigued - it's set in New Mexico.
The final shot we see is face - wide-eyed with growing determination and anger - he turns the dvd over and we see the title:

Really - the show shouldn't end with him getting away or not getting caught. It also shouldn't end with Walt dying of cancer. It needs to end with some form of reflection by Walt of all the pain he's caused, the deaths he has been partly responsible for, etc. followed by whatever fate they deal him.

I hope he gets away scott free, moves to South America and builds a mansion with his drug money. Skylar on the other hand deserves to die.

I've enjoyed it, but im officially avoiding this thread now. Let Breaking Bad will wash over me Lord, uncorrupted by the internet's theories and the happy/sad ending scenarios of man. Amen.

he's in that diner again, goes to the jukebox, 80's song starts playing, he looks around nervously, frankie muniz walks out of the bathroom, screen goes black.
end.

the new gun purchase is to kill whoever did harm to Skyler, Walt Jr. and baby Holly

I feel in the end Walt wont die, but will get caught somehow. At this point everything he tried to save by making meth will somehow be destroyed. Skylar dead, His son will disown him, baby will grow up only knowing how terrible her father is, ect. Last scene something like this. While in his cell he stares at the toy eyeball, reflecting on his life and choices. Camera slowly pans away from him back through the cell bars. He gives a subtle cough, cut to black.
lol now thats some deep shit ha.
- reminds me of the ending of The Shield somehowspl33nidoru
