*but who goes to a friend's for dinner outside and goes in and takes a dump in their bathroom ? I wouldn't. I'd hold it. That's why I go in the morning and mid-afternoons. Don't want to be caught out later on.

Just watched it. Didn't see that ending coming at all. Very tense pool scene.
Here's what I really thought would happen - and this would have been AWESOME: I thought Hank would be inside, and the doorbell would ring, Hank would get it and it would be Lydia - because Walt is "out" and maybe he just cut all ties. Fucking hell that would have been amazing to just show the door open, and it be Lydia, then a blank screen.

So what will Hank go after? Witnesses are dead. No knowledge of Vaminos Pest. No assumption of Jesse. No connection to Jesse. Frings lab destroyed. Walt is not doing it anymore, so nobody to start following or tailing.
Will he interview Walt?
And Walt is getting that M60 - he's going after somebody or defending from somebody. It's got to be the guys he went in business with to make meth instead of giving them the methlamine, but part of me wonders if it will be Czech dealers.

I thought the stabbing montage to be incredibly hackneyed and in poor taste. It's moments like that where I look back at how The Wire handled a similar scene, did it ten times better, and realize how BB often enters into schlocky and juvenile territory.
