I like that on the Wikipedia page about ricin, it says, "not to be confused with rice".
Erm, okay!

Watched the first episode. Didn't think it was all that fun.
Should I stick with it? Will this have any laughs in it, or is it always grimly serious?

tonight was strangely not-tense ... not really filler
just sort of an hour of foreplay with sex promised for next week
it wasn't bad, it was more just excruciating seeing the pieces get put together, but then random parts like marie's shrink (which could end up being a serious plot point, not sure yet).
although skyler's "what's one more" was fucking intense, really shows how walt has corrupted basically everything and everyone who knows who he really is.
i dunno. sort of anticipating a scorched earth kind of finale to all this.

^^Not-Tense? Shit I almost had a heart atack!
Fucking Pinkman little punk ass bitch, he better get killed pretty soon.
Hank is a total retard and he´ll be fucked.
Skylar better thread lightly, I totally agree on Marie´s shrink becoming important here.
I really wish we were not getting closer to the end, I´m so gonna miss that show

i disagree about jesse, he's been played since episode 1 and is finally realizing how badly he's been used. i have no doubt hank would have shot him, so he didn't have a choice in the end. however, instead of letting hank get his way, he's taking matters into his own hands. he's not going to let anyone win but him (at this point, in his mind).
at this point though, there isn't a character worth saving. maybe walt jr, as a complete bystander. but between marie's google searches, hank's willingness to let jesse just fry, everyone deciding to take down walt and skyler turning full on lady macbeth, everyone has dipped below the moral compass they were given at the outset.
- Totally agree on Jesse, it´s just that I´m obsessed with Walt, even if he´s SatanAmbushstudio

For once in a TV show, I really wish the ugliest person (Walt) survives and keeps all his money...
He needs to retire and enjoy them bitches and dough

Im glad they didn't write Jesse off last week.
That character needs to have a much more significant part to this ending.

I think Walt is too vain to go out any other way except dramatically, with lots of collateral damage.

Let's not forget about that flash-forward of a whole year later on Walt's 52nd birthday... The M60 in the trunk... I'm thinking Walt is not going to die in the present day, but how will that work that into the story... He makes it out alive, his family dies along with Hank, Marie and Jesse, he has his $$$ so he uses Saul's "disappear guy", but Todd and his Nazi pals track him down and come gunning for him a year later? But what about the neighbor dropping her groceries when she saw him going back to his house for the ricin...
Oh, fuck! 4 episodes left!!!

I think the Nazis will end up fucking each other.
That's what Nazis do.

i'm confused about the ricin cigarette tho, the kid was killed with that poison flower, so why did jesse flip out over the pack of cigarettes that walt took?
- colin_s0
he wasn't killed, but jesse flipped because he realized that walt lied in order to manipulate him to turn on gus / be on his side / one more thing in a long line of events where walt has used jesse as a pawn instead of a partner, even if it means endangering someone jesse cares greatly about.

Walt poisoned the boy with Lilly of the Valley
Walt steals the Ricin cigarette (Huell)
Jesse assumed the Ricin poisoned the kid cause it was missing
Doctors say it wasn't Ricin
Walt convinces Jesse it was Gus trying to set them up to fight
Jesse beleives him and approves/helps with murder of Gus
Walt returns the Ricin cigarette in Jesse's house
Boy recovers
Walt destroys Lilly

Did Walt ever wear his hat in front of Hank?
