any guesses on the top 2 contenders this challenge?
- nib1010
No idea, i'd like to be up there but fear i've been out of it too long to be a contender.
Can everyone upload there runs now or are there still problems?
- joseprieto0

man this sucks..
I want to run I'm going to get new shoes over the weekend, hopefully my shoes are old.. (it sucks, they look brand new, I've had them since january).. but if the pain won't stop I don't want to force it.

I'm just so damn lazy right now.
I was seriously hoping to beat the crap out of all of you :o) and run like crazy to get in shape, but have done nothing but to drink, eat like a pig and work extra hours...Hope I can start doing a little running by sunday. That is if I feel inspired... coz I have lost a little of fun of running.
- Once you start it will take hold again.Dancer

- try a new course or get a running buddy. I ran with this girl for awhile, really helped me on the long runsflutter
- fuk u meeklo! f u! that kind of shit makes me nauseous.VectorMasked
- flutter — yep a new course might help a little. have tried before running with a partner but it's challenging...VectorMasked
- It's hard to run at the same pace, and I feel forced to make conversation throughout the session :o(VectorMasked
- srsly not cool meeklo. that's the kind of injury I suffered in my teens. it's horrific dude.VectorMasked
- didn't mean to be rude dude, but that was just not cool at least to me.VectorMasked

well...... I am now officially in the race. Just logged 4km at a pathetic pace. It was a little tough actually, but hey... I did it! :o)

lets hope i get time tomorrow to run. :-)

If people talk to me whilst I run I ignore them or just grunt. I have to concentrate and prefer not to have a stich at the end.

so.... I ran my 9 mile route today and it only tracked 8 miles? I'm wondering if I need to replace the sensor. I've only put 311 miles on it. Anyone else have this issue, when your sensor starts dying, does it calibrate incorrectly?
Yay VM! I know you can bring it.
- from what I know you only need to recalibrate it. Supposedly battery life has no effect on the accuracy of the sensor.VectorMasked
- maybe you step lighter in the middleerikjonsson
- joseprieto0
almost there flutter
Im still #1

JP: Savor it while you can - there are some strong competitors here. VM pushed me to 104 miles in challenge 7, and I'm still holding him for that .63 mile defeat... watch your game son, its still early.
- joseprieto0
oh its on! son!
- delmar0
That's quite a few miles. Anyone on here besides me train for marathons?
- i've done 2 half's this so far...have a 33k race july 4-5. and will hopefully do my first marathon in sept!whyte39

- haha if i didn't look like death in all of my race photos...
whyte39 - very cool! which marathon are you going? I just ran my 5th last month.delmar
- dyspl0
I logged my first run for challenge 9 :)
we need some more left handed, any other qbner want to join us ? it's still time!
- flutter0
Delmar - I did the my first full marathon at the ING in Georgia this March because of the QBN challenge. I had done a 1/2 before and was hurting the whole time and gave up running for a year. I didn't think I ever would ever race again, but after running against these guys for a month it inspired me to say fuck it and just do it. (no pun intended) Thanks everyone.
For those of you who haven't done it, I would you encourage you to push yourself and experience it at least once in your life. Its the most painful, brutal head game you can put yourself through, but when you cross that finish line, its such a high and sense of accomplishment.
A GIRL at my agency rocked an ironman last year. Maybe one day... Can we setup a QBN swim/bike/run challenge? ;)
