Depends on if you use corp email / calendar.
If you want speed or more fun. While I have an iphone and let go of my BB (I had both at the same time). I do miss that speed / efficiency from BB.

My 2 cents: Blackberry is not really up-to-date on style, apps and speed. But if you need to be working efficiently with PIM and emails it is still the way to go. Forget the Storm tough.
Iphone need a physical keyboard and a good reception to stop being a gadget and becoming a working smartphone.

I have no problem w the keyboard on the iphone, at first I thought it was going to be lame, but you twist the phone now, and you get a wide keyboard like the one on the sidekicks, (which is wider than the blackberry If I'm not mistaken).
I do agree on reception, although I been using skype through wifi and believe it or not, I get better reception calling oversees

Ok so I feel pretty confident about writing something useful here, which means this is likely to come out as a large turd full of Alphabits, but here goes...
I've always had what I would consider "normal" cell phones in the past (i.e. - no iphone, bb or whatever else).
In December I got an ipod-touch as a gift and it has kind of changed my life. Checking my email or the latest headlines while I'm in bed or on the shitter has really been nice. Not to mention all of the cool apps. I use the ipod-touch more than I ever thought I would. It's mostly just around the house, but it makes me want an iphone so that I can have these same services on the go.
Flash forward to 2 weeks ago. My cellphone broke and I needed a new one asap. I knew I wanted to stick with verizon because I get a discount with them, but I was ready to step it up to something with web, email, etc..
I got a blackbberry curve and hated it. The trackball didn't feel right after getting used to a touch screen, and the overall interface was poorly designed IMO. Not to mention the web browser was utter shite compared to iphone's safari.
So I returned it and got the touch-screen BB Storm. It's basically the imitation iphone from Verizon. So far it's been acceptable, but it's no iphone. It can do everything I need it to do, and the web browser is pretty good, but it definitely falls short of the iphone. But to put it in context, if I had never gotten used to the ipod-touch, I would probably be thinking the BB Storm was amazing. To me it's worth sticking with the Storm and Verizon because I'd be paying an extra $30 or so per month to be on ATT with the iphone.
- I had a similar dilemma. I stayed with Verizon and picked up the new HTC Ozone. Very happy so far and it's only $49 with a contract.bengerman

I have 2 friends whose blackberries are getting flaky keyboard issues, some keys on the left side don't work reliably... anyone else have this, or is it probably due to sweaty pockets...

Iphone - especially with mobile me - the syncing of all my data between my work computer / home laptop / phone and web is perfect

Just got my iphone this weekend and have been using the ipod touch for a while and the phone is so much faster, love it. My wife has the blackberry pearl but always ask to use my phone when she actually wants to do something on the internet besides check her email or update her facebook. I have noticed a lot of the places that i had 5 bars with on my verison clamshell i only have 4 bars on my iphone BUT i drop less calls on the Iphone..can't figure that one. (once so far on the iphone and usually lost between 3 and 4 a week on version) The touch screen typing did have a little bit of a learning curve but i much prefer it now.

I have a blackberry, reason being is that I like to share things with my pals and like them to give me things back, blackberry mounts as an external disc etc. iphone is cool but lacks something basic like that which to me is a huge let down.
Also the iphone is just a little too big for me even my blackberry curve is a bit big, it all depends on what kind of a person you are. If you are a poofy metrosexual who is never doing manly things get a big iphone as you will never crush it or bash it in your pocket, but if you are an actual alpha male like me who does things like chop wood and check things under cars then get a blackberry.- hahahahaDrBombay
- ha ha Chossy great reviewShaney
- do you mean features like sharing over blue tooth or wi-fi? or maybe the mount as disk option? plus glass is easier to clean grease off of then buttonsrusty_ace
- to clean glass off the buttonsrusty_ace
- doesn't your iphone need to be jailbroken to mount as a disc?...chossy
- no, there's freeware apps for thatribit
- freeware apps which you need to install to do something..... pretty practical!!! mac fans really have no fucking clue eh!!!chossy

I have the second generation iphone 3G. Although the iphone has some kick-ass apps, and overall it is a lot of fun, the Internet browsing sucks monkey balls unless you have a strong connection to a WI-FI network. SMS is slow, and you can not attach photos until AT&T allows it. Email is also somewhat slow. And I fucking hate AT&T!!!
- can't attach photos?! (that isn't a true internet connection)ribit

ok My 2pence. I have an iphone not a BB so I can onbly speak from one side.
Overall I think the iphone is great but:
• I got given my iphone by a client of mine as he is a heavy user (6,000 + per month) he had to charge the iphone twice a day to use it which was not too user friendly for him. So the battery life is pretty wank on these things.
• I live in a pretty rural town, therefore reception can get dodgy through O2, if your in the city... no probs
• The ability to not read .ics (calendar invites) on an iphone and have them inserted into your calendar really fucks me off
• no spam filters (there are ways round this though)
• the fragile nature of the phone is worrying so get insurance which is pricey
The reason I find the iphone so good is the immediate and fluid compatibility with my mac.
good luck hon

I gotta say I have lost interest in blackberry ever since they started adding that trackball. most people hate trackballs for navigation. then they dropped the bombshell that is referred to as the Storm.
Iphone all the way.
The closest thing that seems to be interesting is the Palm Pre but the jury is still out for me on that one. All these companies talking about iphone killer this and iphone killer that all fall short in matching the iphone on even its basic features.
