- Would love to see a cut of this without the narration. Something about it just seemed overused/unneeded.freakpelican
- Narrators voice sounded so familiar to me, turns out it’s the guy who wrote the book.Ramanisky2

this was unexpectedly funny but should have been a tv series

I haven't been paying 100% attention, and I'm not sure I would call it a "good movie", but what the southern holy hell is going on in The Devil All The Time!? I guess you'll have to watch to find out.
- I thought it was entertaining enough to call it a good movie. It also has a character named Bobo, so that’s +1 in my book.Ramanisky2
- i may have mis-stated. it is very well made, but may be a tough watch for most of the public given the content of the movieimbecile

How do you guys score movies? I got into a spirited discussion on 10/10 movies with my coworkers. My reasoning for scoring a movie at 10 is this. There is no "perfect" movie. Scoring a 10 would require the film to be a unicorn. Since film critique is subjective, I qualify a unicorn to be a film that you will watch whenever, wherever it's on. There's a level of comfort so deep, that no amount of repetition can take away. Here's my full breakdown.
10 - Unicorn. So good you'll watch it anytime, anywhere.
09 - Awesome. Award-material. Highest level of film-making.
08 - Great. Exceeds expectations. Decent replay value, or stays with you after.
07 - Really good. Meets expectations, but has something uniquely it's own. Worthy of sharing.
06 - Good. Meets expectations. Does not do anything more than that.
05 - Not good. Below expectations. You can see a good movie in there, but it does not materialize.
04 - Bad. This movie sucks. No redeeming qualities.
03 - Really bad. Borderline insulting to one's intelligence.
02 - Shit - So fucking bad, it might be enjoyable from a certain POV.
01 - This movie shouldn't exist, and everyone involved should be killed.- 0 or 1. Binary.nb
- 10s are just cult films, endlessly watchable. Back to the future, princess bride, pulp fiction, goodfellas, clockwork orange, true romance etc for me._niko
- And even a film like the room which is technically a 1 could also be a 10_niko
- way too complicated for me. but I would like to know your 01s : ]
Love Actually fits that nicely for me.MrT

Newest film from David Cronenbergs son Brandon. The apple falls extremely close to the tree.

There's some new F-lister/SAS structured reality gash starting on Aus TV, so it felt like a good time to rewatch this. It's worth it for the big wah-wah guitar-themed commie takedown at the end (Hayoth'll be frothing), but there's a decent thriller underneath it all.
