- Hold up a minute.. you've never seen Alien?! I'm so jealous. The opening scene is one of the best things ever put to film.garbage
- Yeah nevernb
- Haven’t seen any of themnb
- Good series.monospaced
- Hell yeah. I'm off on Friday, it's also back in some cinemas down under too, which is nice. 1, 2 then nah for me.MrT
- After 2, it's all downhill. 3 could have been good, but they didn't really know what the hell to do next. One of the scripts had Ripley as the only survivorgarbage
- She crash lands on a wooden planet made by cultist Luddite monks that believe the xenos are the embodiment of Satan. There are xeno-sheep.garbage
- The biggest miss though: William Fucking Gibson wrote a script for 3, and those idiots turned it down.garbage
- Well TIL learned that about Gibson and #3. Terrible decision!MrT
- You can find the script online, and there have been comic and novel versions of it.garbage
- Ripley arrives on a rogue moon called Anchorpoint, and it's populated by actual space commies that are embroiled in a cold war. In space. Written by Gibson.garbage
- I'm excited about Alien: Romulus coming out later this year. It'll most likely suck.pseud
- Oh weird, didn't even hear about that one. It's supposed to take place between 1 and 2? Also I saw the director, yeah it will most likely suck lol.garbage

I finally watched this 2004 film last night and now believe the hype as it really is one of the best music docs I think I've ever seen. I'm no a fan of either band though I have seen The Dandy Warhols live a couple of times but I wasn't expecting to be quite so moved despite the awful behaviour of both bands at times, but it really is a great watch!
- One of the best music docs ever. I barely knew either of these bands when I saw this (in the theatre) and I still loved itnb
- What’s really cool about it is how much footage they have over the years. Too many docs are just talking headsnb
- Great film. Anytime i hear anyone is a fan of the Dandy Warhols i know they haven't seen Dig, when someone is a BJM fan you know they have...kingsteven
- there is a DIG! XX coming soon too with 40 mins extra footageGardener
- Its a shame that people know BJM for Anton's surrealist drama (and the fans lap it up like a soap opera). They have several incredible albums.kingsteven
- I met Courtney Taylor before a Radiohead concert in 2001 and sat a talked to him for a bit. My gf asked him "Don't you think RH is the best band in the world".fooler
- He replied No,The Brian Jonestown Massacre is. I had only listened to Strung Out in Heaven at the time but said I loved that and practically the song "Jennifer"fooler
- My girlfriends name. A few years later I interview the director for a website I was working for. I only remember her saying it started out as a doc about the SFfooler
- Music scene and involved a lot more bands but she ended up focusing on BJM and the Dandys for obvious reasons.fooler
- Radiohead is the best band in the world thoughnb
- Yeah, At the time they were.fooler
- Or maybe Bachman Turner Overdrivenb
- Possibly Styxnb

- yup so good. movie was forgettable though, didn't realize any of these guys were in it lol_niko
- also, what happened to Denis Leary, he was like the original anti-woke comedian, he should be in his heyday at the moment_niko
- I knew the soundtrack by heart but never actually saw the movienb
- just another victim . . . kidtimeless
- same nb, used to have the soundtrack on repeat . . . have never seen the movietimeless
