I killed a £400 quad GPU setup mining $4 over 5 days at 6.7ghz.
The 600 watt hours cost over £80 and released around 1.5T of additional CO2 emissions.
I did all this to try and avoid letting The Man know about my transactions — sadly, He noted a massive increase in my energy usage, raided my premises and found my extensive weed farm.
I'm now writing this from prison, have lost my wife and my kids have been taken away from me.
Fuck Bitcoin.
