The Porsche sold today for ~300 Bitcoins! If this isn't proof that Bitcoin is a legitimate currency, then I don't know what is. The buyer purchased his initial Bitcoin investment at around $4 a piece so they got an amazing deal. I'm not sure if this is the single largest item sold for BTC, but I can guarantee it's the first $40,000 vehicle sold for ~300 BTC.

I was anticipating a major sell/crash after it hit $200. I might still be right...I could be horribly wrong. Either way I paid for my original mining hardware, plus a lot more :)

goddamnit. when it was $88 i sat at my desk for hours looking into buying some and reading all the "omg it's a bubble" guys made me decide against it. i could have doubled my money in like a week
