I've just looked at the numbers. Raising BTC price guidance from $450 to $600 as Bitcoin adoption rate is now faster than iPhone and daily volume exceeds paypal.- Do you know where the heaviest trading is occurring?ZOOP

I hadn't heard of BitCoin until Silk Road closed down. I hadn't heard of Silk Road until it shut down either. Anyway... BitCoin... from what I can see they work like shares? No? Well can someone explain, simply, what is it and how it works please?

^^ Bitcoin is currency, just like Euros and Dollars, except it's digital and free from legislations and countries. You can't really make money with bitcoin at this point unless you have a lot to invest, and you won't be able to make much money with it in the future when it will stabilize. The people that are making money with it at the moment, is because it's still new and hasn't settled on a regular value, so If you have Bitcoins, they will probably be worth more in the future (or not) when it's value stops being so volatile and becomes somewhat standard (i.e. 1 Euro = 1.35 Dollars ) until that time, it's value will be much like shares like you said, so you can buy low and sell high.

Who, this is terrifying. Stock market is looking bubbly ($3billion for Snapchat??? Insane), housing is so slanted (to rentals), this is all looking like a disaster waiting to happen.
What was that old saying? When your construction worker is giving stock picking advice its time to get out....feels close.
