bittersweet day today..
had to sell my second set of SL1210's ..sad because they are gone, happy because i got them for 300euro and just sold them for 800euro..
goodbye turntables.. hello plane ticket.
its a weird feeling, its the first time in nearly 20 years of buying and selling hardware that i have not reinvested the money back into new hardware.. I have never sold anything before that hasnt immediately or shortly after been sunk back into new gear.
and I just let go of the decks and an ableton push.
god damn weddings in other countries from best friends..
i have missed many weddings and even a few funerals, but there is always someone who you know you just cant miss..anyway, here is a picture of a Juno 60.. Name sake for my little girl, and what the decks were originally earmarked for sale to buy..

Definitely not my thing though - that screen would do my head in trying to program and keep my head around songs. That's where a computer or ipad excells.
