not that anyone cares.. but in the end, i sent the Analog4 back..
it was dope, but no where near dope enough for the money and the other major thing was it couldnt send midi sequences..i wanted to love it like i do with the octatrack.. but sadly, it ended up being the same scenerio i had with the monomachine in 2006.. cool machine, but couldnt fit into my sound.
- shame, my eye is on a rytmprophetone
- not that i'll be purchasing a rytm anytime soon but my eye is on it! so dope.prophetone

Autoflavour ... wow!
The A4 is one of my dream bits of kit - the sounds it can make!!!!I'm guilty of GASSING over the Rytm at the moment.
I got an Akai Rhythm Wolf the other week and was less than impressed by it. I'm going to put together a video of my gripes at somepoint. It's going back to the shop this weekend.Thinking about the TR-8 instead .... but would LOVE a Rytm!
- < Microkorg - check the STROM app that works with RYTHM, just to make you go a little more mental ;)lessfloor
- yeah, i think it depends a lot of the style of music you make..autoflavour
- The strom app works - yet another reason to make a grab for a rytm ;)microkorg

A couple of videos with the Akai Rhythm Wolf.
The first is a little video review, my take on the drum machine.
Overall quite unimpressed after all the hype it got. Needless to say it went back to the shop I got it from where they told me they'd had a few returned with the same gripes.
The second video is a little jam with the Wolf, OP-1 and Beatstep.
I've added some reverb to the drums because they are so flat and boring straight out of the Wolf.- That second video rocks:)lessfloor
- thats your video? i just finished watching it over on CDM.. LOL..autoflavour

Got my review video of the Rhythm Wolf featured on Create Digital Music site embedded into the editors own review (who thought mostly the same about the wolf).

I like it.
The only thing i would say about it, is that i got the feeling that u used the same drums pattern on all the tracks. I like myself a little variation.
You've mastered your recipe, you should now , step out of your comfort zone. ;)

Yeah, i mean, that's the nature of the beast with dnb, but they are subtly different in the patterns, and certainly in the samples, effects, and layering. Thanks for the listen!

Been making a lot of sketches on the iPad + OP-1 with Cubasis and various other programs.
Love this focusrite iTrack dock. Lets me sample external gear I have like the OP-1, Monomachine and old school Roland MC-505
