I saw these Ollo Audio S4 and kinda fell in love with the look of them. Apparently designed for professional musicians (I'm not) and a bit pricey but I decided to go for it anyway.
Lovely sound and build quality, definitely hand build and the printed manual also shows signs of that. So while I'm no way an audiophile enough to enjoy all the aspects they do, I'm just happy own them and have some nice sounding and designed headphones for my little home setup.

I finally decided to get into the noise canceling headphone game with the Sony 1000X M3, and now that I have, I couldn't be happier. These cans are simply amazing, and I can honestly report that in just one week they've increased my productivity and focus at work significantly. The touch controls are NOT gimmicky. They are natural and useful, because who the hell wants to talk to siri or pick up a phone to change tracks or volume? This is awesome.
I chose the Sony over the obvious choices for a few reasons. One is that I despise the Bose sound signature, but I respect their dominance in the market of noise canceling and comfort. Hate to say it Bose, but Sony is the new king!
These headphones are so comfortable, I might even say they could be the most comfortable over ear headphones on the market ... period. They are more comfortable than the famous Bose QuietComfort line.
They also sound amazing. They remind me of the sound from my classic Sony over ear headphones that you see in recording studios. No, they aren't recording quality ffs, they're bluetooth, and they're tuned for outdoor use (more bass). But they sound a fuck ton better than Bose, that's for sure.
And then there's noise canceling. They win, hands down. Bose is beat. Done. And the app that comes with them is sick. You can actually adjust the type of noise canceling, and customize the pressure and sound to your freakin' ear!
I put these on and disappear for hours, only stopping to work to eat. I couldn't do that easily before.
Yes, I officially recommend the Sony 1000X M3.

went and ordered a pair of Blon BL3 in ears based on the video microkorg posted last week and i'm really impressed.
they are worn over the ear (with a stiffened end to the cable)... I've tried the 'sports' type clip on in-ears before and i have a couple of pairs (Etymotic Research and Senheiser) that rely on the rubber gasket to hold the earphone in your ear canal (which i hate wearing while walking and find irritating to wear more than an hour a day)... this is a nice compromise.
the only issue i've had with them so far is that they have a very flat frequency response and i'm used to quite exaggerated bass from in ears - but I thats not really a bad thing... pretty incredible for £35

- and a flat response is perfect for reference for music making too. I've read you'll get better sound from them if you get aftermarket memory foam eartips.microkorg
- and for extra comfort you can get aftermarket cable for like £17-25. It does make total up over £50 but still worth it i read.microkorg

- Been thinking about these Jabra Elite Active 65t. Wireless. Have good battery life and reputedly good sound with noise cancelling tech.
Most important for me, they supposedly have great mics that neutralize background noise using 4 different mics. I hate how my Bose buds pick up EVERY bit of background noise anywhere I am.

Anyone own any of these in-ear headphones mentioned in the comment of this guys review video?
My Bose QC20's audio wire is frayed and almost about to give up. I plan on keeping them though as can still use the noise cancelling feature to create a bubble of quiet for long haul journeys when I want to sleep. IMO the Bose Noise Cancelling is the best on the market. The sound on them isnt that brilliant though - not for Bose.
Got myself a set of Soundcore Liberty 2 Pros based on the brilliant reviews they get but not gelling with that kind of weight in my ears. My right ear in particular isnt a fan of them. Also been thinking that I don't want bluetooth beaming down my ears for hours a day so want to go wired.
This guys reviews seem pretty spot on. He's not hyping stuff just telling it like it is.
There's some real budget ones there that he's claiming kick ass against phones of higher price band.

I was given a pair of these (Bose Noise Cancelling 700) for Christmas:
They're OK, though they're nothing I would have bought on my own; I'm much more of a Sennheiser guy.
• Barely anything from the outside world leaks through, so NC is very good;
• They're not all that great on the bottom end, they're much more pronounced in the mids, and everything sounds a bit tinny;
• They're fucking heavy, and tend to simply fall off when you're horizontal (bench pressing at the gym, for example).

What do you headphone connoisseur's recommend for something on/over ear that's:
* Comfortable (most importantly)
* Durable
* Has good sound quality (doesn't have to be amazing, just better than average)
* Good for using at my desk or in bed
* Bluetooth is not important (in fact, might prefer non-bluetooth)

Nuraphone update :
I have received my pair this monday. And I am quite confused. They sound really good, it's a kind of magic.
But, unfortunately they are uncomfortable as f**ck for me...
After a few minutes it starts to be painful and I have to remove them. The customer service told me that it can be a question of time, that the silicone tips can soften after a few days, and the pain will dissapear. It happen sometime for some people.No luck it's for me :'( Anyway I can still try them until the 27th of September and if it's still not ok, I can send them back (30 days of trial)

Back in 2004 Aphex Twin stated that he recorded and mastered tracks from Syro on Sony 7510's. They retail for about £100.

Still using a pair of Sennheiser HD 25's I purchased in 1994.
Never replaced the cable...the covers on each can are still intact.
