For a long time I thought Skullcandy was making cheap headphones for the masses, but these are my second pair of Skullcandy headphones and I really love them. The build quality is very good, they're comfortable and the sound quality is very good. You can use them wires or by Bluetooth.
I love the Sensory Bass button and this is the #1 reason why I picked them. This is a slider on the side of the headphone to adjust the bass, and we're talking bass that make your whole brain vibrate, i really like that, no distortions, just fat bass at the level you want to.
- they do make cheap headphones, for the bass-loving masses.hans_glib
- I also have a pair of AKG K171 MkII and I have more fun with the Skullcandy to listen to music on my computer or phone via Spotify.HAL9001
- I wouldnt use these on a Hi Fi system thats for sureHAL9001
- But for Spotify + Phone/Computer, the sound quality is very good. And the bass is fun as hell.HAL9001

I have the WF-1000XM4 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones and love them too. In agreement with Necromation. I thought the old Bose QC20i's were good in ear noise cancelling (wired tho). These are far superior and coupled with the app, brilliant customisation.
I think I'm going to order myself a set of Snugs to go with the WF-1000XM4 to make them even comfier and safer wear. I won't have the fear of them ever falling out ;)

WF-1000XM4 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones...
BEST wireless earphones. EVER.
- How do they work with Teams etc?
My JBL's sound great but ALWAYS giving connection problem, even halfway through callsProjectile - I stuffed up the name hah, meant WH. Is WF the in-ears? Not keen on in-ears, have decent AKG in-ears and want over earssausages
- These are in-ears, but trust me... you will never wanna use anything else again. i use them everywhere... on calls, in Teams, on my motorbike (and taking calls)necromation
- nothing comes close to these bad boys! i had the previous model after having B&Os, Apple, Sennheiser... better than them allnecromation
- Will look into them, appreciate the input :)sausages
- I have the WH-1000XM4's (regular over the head style) and love, love, love them. The ANC is so good, especially when working from home.elahon

Bump.
Looking at new headphones, wireless would be handy but want to wire whenever I can. Front runners are Sony MX1000XM4, AKG N700NC and Sennheiser PXC 550 II.
Would prefer a less colourful response, wired monitor type of headphone for a few reasons but kinda need something I can talk through for work as well.

Anyone mess with the TMA line from AIAIAI? I'm really trying to justify them for work:
- I got a pair from a client, honestly didn't love them. Found the sound pretty muted and bass biased. They look badass though.ben_
- granted mine were the originals.ben_
- Yeah; i hear similar sentiments. What do you use now. What do you use now @ben_?ideaist
- mine fell to pieces. so did my bros. never touching aiaiai again.inteliboy
- I've grabbed a pair when they were on sale, maybe a black friday or two ago or some other yearly sale (tip: wait for sale time!).microkorg
- I got the H04 headband for max comfort. Was going to get the bluetooth one but then i got them for music production so theyd have latency so not good.microkorg
- went for H04 as theyd offer comfort for long listening sessions. Went with the E08 pads for max comfort for long sessions, boy are they comfy even after hours!microkorg
- Speakers I got two sets for reference for making beats. Went with S01 as it's their flattest sounding one - gives awesome clarity through range...microkorg
- ... and have ended up been being my everyday listener. And got the S04 initially as my everyday listener for a wee bit more bass punch. They sound goodmicrokorg
- just have ended up using S01 more. But still, good to have 2 for reference. I may end up trying to grab a set of S05's if there's ever a good bargain sale :)microkorg
- They are big headphones though as they dont collapse. In summer they are too hot to wear walking around and I find them too big and ignorant for at work...microkorg
- ..so tend to opt for my in ear Bose QCs which are giving up the ghost. Going to get a pair of ChiFi IEMs to replace them.microkorg
- @ideaist. For travel I’ve had the same nose QC35II’s for the pst few years, not amazing sound but when I bought them they were the best anc I could find.ben_
- For listening at home I have a set of Grado Allesandro music series 2’s which are great.ben_
- Lots of wisdom(s) here.
: )ideaist - Luv my TMA-2 DJ presets, sound is perfect for playing out. Maybe not home/studio listening. The breaking issue was with first generation. Resolved now.horton

Any wireless earbud recommendations?
I bought the pixel buds 2, and like them a lot, but on my Macbook with video calls they are super flaky and get a strange echo between the buds. Sending them back.
Looking at the Samsung Galaxy Buds+
Also the Sony WF-SP800N
I know I won't get awesome sound out of a wireless earbud, but really like the experience for video calls and the portability for running around outside

I have these AKGs for work and for playing guitar. They are ugly and are largely plastic so hard to say how long they'll hold up.
On the plus side they cost three fifths of fuck all, have a pretty balanced sound (if a bit average in the mid-range), a really long cord and they can be worn forever without feeling heavy or uncomfortable. Isolation is pretty bad for closed back headphones so not the best for open offices.
All in all a fair bit better than the price suggests.
- akiersky2
- They're amazing but they don't travel well... Had 2 pairs develop the 'Grado rattle' and there's fuck all you can do about it. Also, they eat long-hair :Dkingsteven
- Love my GradosShaneHolley

If you want noise cancelling, these are the absolute shit!!!
If they're too bassy for ya, you can use the app to tell the "Extra bass" button to actually reduce the bass.
Only con is that they really are huge
- Scratch this! They just broke after a couple of months of desk-only use!!!Projectile

Well, I'm a cheapskate at heart and although I really like those AIAIAIs, I wound up getting the Status Audio CB-1 for $63 after reading the reviews on Amazon, which made them sound almost too good to be true.
https://www.amazon.com/Status-Au…
I'm no audiophile and I have never owned a pair of expensive headphones in my life, so to me they sound pretty darn awesome. Great texture and clarity both on the low end and high end. People say the mids are a weakness with these headphones, but I thought they were fine.
I did a comparison with my old $16 headphones and the difference was immediate and clear.
I bought them because many people said they are super comfortable, and thus far they have been.
But they're a little bulky because of all the padding. They're also made entirely of plastic, which means they may not stand up to the abuse of travel. But I only plan on using them in my home office and in bed. So for me the compromise there is fine. And if they do break after a while, it's not like I invested big bucks.
Anyway, that's my story. Thanks for reading.
- Also features a removable cable coming out of only 1 side, which was a feature I really wanted.nocomply
- nice... and don't worry about the plasticmonospaced
- Just a note for anyone reading this. Closing in on 2 years with these headphones and they're great. Use them at my desk almost daily. Super comfy. Great sound.nocomply

Bang for buck, i don't feel Jays can be beat: https://www.jaysheadphones.com/h…
I've recently got the m-Six Wireless for myself for running, cycling, etc.
AND the m-Seven True Wireless for my wife for iPad Pro'ing, walking, etc.
I got them on Black Friday (50% off / a steal), BUT the price normally isn't too bad and quality good, bordering on great.
I've NOT tried their larger offerings, BUT am tempted.
- headphones for cycling? NO!OBBTKN
- ^ @OBBTKN; just for really long rides. I hug right and take safety precautions always.
I also ride in the country, NOT in the city brother.
: )ideaist - ok then... Qbn safety comitee aproved ;)OBBTKN
- Just got these for snowboarding. Greatly built, fits well. However I wish they had more bass. Also notice reception is poor when my phone on left pocketzaq

- Nice! Reviews say they’re a solid set. USB C charging? How is device switching? That’s not elegant on the Sony’s.monospaced
- No USB-C, this model came out a few years ago, so that's a bummer. And device switching isn't that elegant, I have to connect on the device itself, but it's ok.elahon
- They did release a new PX550-II model late last year with some improvements, but still no USB-C. But it's a small thing, these guys are still fantastic!elahon
