maybe i am, i have vented my frustrations on here, a meaningless process that wont cause any issues.
it'll be fine, if she smokes, she smokes.
i'm gunna buy myself a new bike.... that'll take my mind off it....

you're making too big of a deal. she's not gonna tell you anything anymore.
don't make a fuzz about it and encourage her back to smoke free.
and definitely no need to post it on qbn to have the chance of her finding out... just saying...

cigs share the same addiction pathways as coke. Not easy to quit.

I'd rather my wife smoke in the garden than my husband complain about my personal decisions to strangers on the internet.
- really? good for ol' chapcruddlebub
- your selfish needy attitude is likely why she thought it easier to smoke without informing youalbums
- it's not like she needs your permission.albums
- i never said she did, mr no it all, i just wanted her to tell me, other than catch her in the actcruddlebub

A relationship of any variety is based on trust and she has taken advantage of it.

Cross, as in, "Hot cross buns." It's an English thing.
- I know, just didnt know what it meant. Still dont. So he is a hot cross bun? Cool.CygnusZero4
- hahaahaa, cross = angry, come on!!cruddlebub
- don't make me cross is a saying said to kids... polite and non-agressivecruddlebub
- I thought it meant you felt double crossed or something like that, not angry. You didnt sound angry in your post.CygnusZero4
- annoyed more than angry. there are many levels in anger. annoyed, cross, angry, raging, murderouscruddlebub

Can anyone tell me what i am CROSS means? Never heard the word cross used like that.
- cruddlebub0
nah, i think she was surprised at how cool i was about it all. and she only smokes in the garden, i wish she would shut the back door though.
she has used pills to help her quit in the past, openly said she never wanted to quit in the past, so this was inevitable.
she is saying she'll go back to the quacks, i have just told her to do whatever she wants.
i'm not stressing either of us out with my annoyance at it all
- What does back to the quacks mean? Sorry Im from the US, just curious.CygnusZero4
- to the doctorscruddlebub
- ah ok thxCygnusZero4

I smoked for 10 years and then stopped. 100% clean for a couple of years, but now i seem to have an anual 2 month relapse :s it really is difficult when people around you are smoking and you're tipsy. I really do try hard and even now it's still really difficult so you gotta understand that. Heck my mom died of fucking lung cancer cos of it and I still have relapses, that tells you how addicted you get!!
But i've never felt the need to have one at home, but i guess different strokes.
Just whatever you do, don't be a dick about it, that won't help. Human psychology 101, but it goes against our nature not to go ballistic when cross. Good to have a vent here and then just let her know you're not happy but you're not gonna get all up in her grill about it.
(basically, guilt trip the bitch into stopping :P)

Who gives a shit. We're all going to die soon enough anyway, and when you're dead you dont have regrets, so do whatever you want and enjoy yourself.

"I don't know what is going on with my husband, he was so strong, doing so well and then I saw him secretly checking QBN again.
I don't know why the relapse, don't know what to do. I need a cigarette."
- hahahaha she knows i'm here. i am always showing her the pic of the day thread!cruddlebub

I smoked for years, then stopped cold turkey, then smoked some occasionally, mostly at parties and on holidays. Haven't in some time.
I never understood the nicotine talk, always considered it an excuse.
It's just a strong habit, with situational and social triggers. Whenever I find myself in a setting I used to smoke in (a location or a group of smoking friends), that's when the desire to smoke wakes up. Not by smelling nicotine smoke, it's rather revolting.
- you dont smell nicotine, you smell smoke, the nicotine is absorbed into your bloodstreame-pill
- the body isnt addicted to smoke as that is revolting as it should be.. its smoke.e-pill
- I know, I mean it's not as much cigarettes themselves that trigger smoking, it's the context.raf
- they stink, and make the smoker stink twice as badcruddlebub
- I have cigarettes, don't feel like smoking at all. I'll feel an impulse to smoke when at a party.raf
- if i have a pack i smoke it, if i have 4 packs i smoke it all..oi you have good control.e-pill
- Actually having a pack helps me not to smoke. If I don't have cigarettes, I might crave them.raf

Distract her addiction.
Buy her some skag.
Kids'll love it too.
- hahaha much better idea, at least she wont smell of fags....cruddlebub
- cruddlebub0
really the thing that upsets me the most other than her going back to doing it is the smell....
i loath it.

been smokeless for 5 months now. Now all that money saved can be spent on prostitutes.

I quit smoking cold turkey two years ago after smoking for 20 years. Had no problem with it. still dont. Now all thats left is beer.
- elahon0
I quit about 12 years ago, but whenever I drink I get a serious jonesing for a smoke. I've never given in, though.
- cruddlebub0
@rabbit
i know its the most addictive thing in the world, and i feel for her, she has/had smoked since the age of 12 (bad girl) until 32 so 20 years...
- ukit20
Having quit several years ago I can say there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I remember all those cravings for a smoke after eating, when having coffee etc...all completely gone now.
