"Dr. John Lott, a senior research scholar at Yale University Law School in a study with the University of Chicago, discovered that guns are used five times as often to prevent as to commit crimes. Thirty-one states now have laws allowing qualified citizens to carry concealed firearms for self-defense."
- now the real facts http://lemonparty.or…zaq

Second hand smoke can lead to nicotine addiction

so what does the QBN militia suggest we do then?
- Be completely unregulated.i_monk
- shut the fuck up about it.albums
- I think its linked to psychiatric drugs. I spoke to drs at xmass party with dr's they all agree. its the elephant in the room.yurimon
- They will go after guns before they open a can of worms on the drug manufactures and big pharmayurimon
- drugs are a symptom just like the shootings, i think the problem goes deeper than that as i stated beforemoldero
- Nazis conducted experiments subjecting people to watch violence, porn. used to tie people down to make them watch what we watch voluntary now.yurimon
- watch what we voluntarily watch now.yurimon
- The drs said its a gamble to subscribe psychiatric drugs. 50/50 chance it would work or lead to violence.yurimon
- especially to teens or children. especially for ADDyurimon
- also they are over prescribed.yurimon
- so Albums suggestion to all these mass killings is "shut the fuck up about it" ok we have a winnermoldero

- death cages prowling th streets looking for a victimalbums
- LOL. For every one of these you find, I can find 500 gun crime stories. You've lost all perspective.CanHasQBN
- oh wait, the car didn't do it, the driver did... but still, ban carsalbums
- I'm all for banning cars. But people need them to get to work. They are aware of the risks of driving every time they get into a car.CanHasQBN
- step into a car. It's a personal choice they make THEMSELVES. It's not ANOTHER person forcing them into the car.CanHasQBN
- to get into the car. It's NOT the same as one person shooting another person.CanHasQBN
- If you cannot distinguish this difference of CHOICE... then there really is no point in arguing with a brick wall.CanHasQBN

"Cops kill Pa. man who fled after shooting 3 people"
http://www.usatoday.com/story/ne…
... only 3... prob not big enough to be in this thread now (although it was so rural he was shot and killed by a statey... )

Yuri- you cannot prove that, in every gun crime, psychiatric drug use was involved.
However, I can prove that, in every gun crime, there was a gun involved.
It is you who keeps avoiding the issue and reaching for other things to blame... while the thing that is ALWAYS present during gun crimes.. is guns.
No shit there are sick people out there. But it's impossible to recognize and treat every single individual who might have a problem. However, the gun is a tangible item that can be seen, contained, and controlled.

The Associated Press reported that the woman was fatally shot while decorating for a children's Christmas party at the Juniata Valley Gospel Church.
NRA's answer will be to arm the clergy in every church.

@albums
We have spoken out regarding cigarettes and motor vehicles. We lead the world in vehicle safety standards, and fatalities decrease every year. We've also invested billions in marketing the cigarette business and their heyday as an American atrocity only second to slavery.
Do you live in the US?
- Yep, and even with all those advancements, they still kill more than guns. Glad you understand.albums
- Yes, US gun deaths are about 1/5 of vehicular deaths. And I still have to argue with idiots like you.waterhouse
- great argument waterhouse.whhipp

@ Fax_Benson
agreed. except your comparison to your smoking right was taken away... in comparison to owning a gun... the act of smoking in public is comparable to shooting a gun in public... you are allowed to carry a pack of cigarets when ever, where ever you want... just prohibited to smoke them in public areas in which you can harm innocent people... so in comparison, people should be allowed to carry guns and only allowed to use them in certain safe areas unless for self defense. which is how it is today.
- sorry, I physically can't read that all the way through.Fax_Benson
- waterhouse0
ARE WE REALLY COMPARING CIGARETTES TO BULLETS?
We're far smarter than this. Since when does smarmy playground logic look good on grown men?- since you walked up with your snotty nose. ;)whhipp

Alcohol abuse kills some 75,000 Americans each year.
Quick, someone tell me how these lives are any less important, and how that number is irrelevant.
- qoob0
There is one easy difference - alcoholism hurts you but not others
