MANCHESTER, Ill. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the slayings of five people whose bodies were found in a house in the tiny Scott County community of Manchester. A suspect is in custody.
Illinois State Police spokeswoman Monique Bond says the victims were found early Wednesday morning in the southwestern Illinois community, 50 miles west of Springfield. She didn't have any details on the deaths or the circumstances surrounding the capture of the suspect.
A school superintendent in the area says he was informed by sheriffs early Wednesday morning that the victims had been shot to death. Les Stevens of the North Greene School District says he canceled classes because authorities warned him at the time that the suspect was at large. Can we get one thing straight before I read it again?
You can print a 3d gun SHAPE, but you can't print a working ballistic gun capable of firing anything. There's a reason guns are made from the hardest tempered steel available. Its because they need to be THAT strong to withstand the stress of launching a projectile that far, that quickly, in one direction.
A printed gun would possibly fire a pistachio about 15feet at best.

a five year old should never have access to any kind of gun. it's ridiculous. and to think there's an actual "law" that allows this in that state. i remember when i was a kid i couldn't even buy caps for my toy gun. my mom had to (reluctantly) buy it for me... and a .22 is a live round. not even an air-gun. a real, live, round...
