Novelty and functionality aside, I do not want a wifi/bluetooth networked device strapped to the flesh over my radial artery for 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. I already do everything i can to keep the phone as far a way as possible.

- i wheel around all my apple products in a little white wagon wrapped in tin foil. Inconvenient, but safe.BrokenHD
- err, i leave it in the center console in my car, on the desk at work, headphonse/speaker often as possible, etc..BrokenHD
- I have a belt strap with a 12ft barge pole attached which keeps my phone at a safe distance********

Tim Cook is a bore from computaq, no wonder innovation is lacking at apple and everything is just resizing production.

Just watched Tim Cook's interview with Charlie Rose...that's a fair chunk of time I'll never get back. Cook may be a smart guy but every answer is so cliched and lacking in substance. Just freaking boring.
- tim cook could be selling cucumbers in bulk, that's the impression I get, just boring corporate jargonWeyland

- Im sure he had a lot to do with the blind apple fanboys that steve jobs birthed.CygnusZero4
- does "blind fanboy" only apply to Apple? Or just companies you don't like?inteliboy

When you are a leader, everyone will think you are a hack until they take your place.

Billionaire Peter Thiel tells Apple "Innovate!"
The Apple Watch and Apple Pay aren't true breakthroughs, Thiel argues. Something like an Apple Television might be.

I'm watching / listening to the Charlie Rose interview. I'm two minutes in and I can't stand the overuse of the world "unbelievable." Hyperbole just kills me sometimes. How can a phone feel unbelievable when it's RIGHT THERE IN YOUR HAND?? It's entirely believable! LOL

^ "Regarding the dimensions, many Android owners will point out how late the Cupertino company has come to the size game. But once again, Apple wanted to wait until it got the perfect merger of processor, battery life, resolution, materials and OS workarounds. Being first isn’t the point, being the best is." - UTTER NONSENSE
- gosh, how do you keep on buying the same bullshit every fuckn time apple release a new phone...GeorgesII

^YES.
Many times in that article he mentions how apple are late to the party on certain features, but they were "waiting for the right time" and we're waiting to "do it better". I stopped reading it pretty quickly. Apple products are great and well made, but he writes some serious crap about them.

Would have been so much better to offer a discount, some kind of loyalty program. Personally, I think this was their last 'free' ticket of sales. Future ones they'll actually have to work at.
I like U2 (older stuff, anyway), but I don't care about any free album.
Ads won't matter if there aren't any big hits (can anyone recall any of their last music efforts? I sure can't).
- randommail0
To be honest, I would have probably downloaded the free U2 album because I used to be a fan a long time ago. And I like FREE. EVERYONE likes FREE. So why wouldn't I have downloaded it and given it at least one listen through, along with millions of other people?
Because a fucking 'technologist' was in charge, instead of a 'marketer'. Just because you can have the album pre-loaded and ready on everyone's iTunes library, doesn't make it a step closer to be using listened to. It does the exact opposite. Tell people type in the promo code "U2" in iTunes and they will. To get a full album for FREE. Why not. But try to force people to listen to it, and they will resent it.
- I gave it a shot. After one listen through I was confident I could delete it forever.ETM
