and they last 5 hours. would it make sense to own several pairs?
I keep seeing the situation, where I brought with me two R's, and left two L's at home -- again

here is an idea apple, instead of releasing a new fucking pointless phone every year, how about actually doing some real work and updating every other product line you have..
macbook pro, mac pro.. feel free to start anywhere..
to be honest tho, these lack updates i seriously wouldnt be surprised that they will soon argue the ipad is all the laptop you will ever need and more..
- especially if they keep not updating the machines.. soon the ipad WILL be more powerfulautoflavour
- yup thismonospaced
- It seems that the OS's are heading for convergence at some point, with the emphasis leaning towards iOS.face_melter
- Presumably the professional market they once served isn't large enough a cash cow for them to bother with any more—i wonder how that will affect them long term?detritus
- ..I doubt they much give a fuck though.

I can't believe they didn't release new Macs. So disappointed.
- yeah, a lot of people are, but their profits are in the iphone (and I am sure the margin on those wireless qtips is HUGE)formed
- fall event is usually just mobile, computer stuff in the springakiersky
- New Macs in October, allegedly.e-wo
- I don't have my hopes up for anything significant. Macs really should be gamin machines toomonospaced

Did I miss anything?!
I am relying on QBN to provide all the relevant updates.
- you missed that apple is once again proving without steve jobs, they are just a floundering tech company without direction, innovation or goalsautoflavour

LOL.. seriously .. 5 hours for the wireless airpods.. what a fucking joke.
i see 2 things happening..
a rush on the remaining iphone 6S stock..
and the iphone 7 going down as the biggest mistake since the Apple Cube
- World domination: air pods. Humans are gone to fucking shit.maquito
- the 7 will sell like gangbusters, as normal, but the honeymoon period will be short once people get fucked off with the earphones.face_melter
- it'll be interesting to watch. Apple gambled big time waiting a year to release something "new". Now we see the true test for the "fanboys"formed

also, is it just me or was there a significant shift in demographic in those videos.. apple videos are usually pretty multicultural, but these seems to be marked increase in Chinese and asian representation..

many of my friends jumped ship ages ago and it looks like i may as well do to.
my 6s is fine for now, i may cash in on it and find something new.

Apple is no longer a company that cares about professionals. Period. No fucking MBP update, the Mac Pro's are a fucking abortion, it's all less than an after thought.
Hey Apple, you know what 99% of your "pro" market wants? Up to date laptops, and a tower that we can upgrade. Not a bitch made iMac, not a Mac mini, a damn tower like the old mac pro's. The ability to swap out graphics cards, add extra USB cards, and add ram isn't a new asking for a lot. It's asking for the bare minimum.
But, just keeping doing you.
- Yes. Slam that mini tower between the iMac and the Mac Pro, and call it a fucking Mac, which they somehow killed years ago. Back to what made them great.monospaced
- They went mainstream, but they HAVE to realize that creatives are their OSX bread and butter, right?monospaced
- If it weren't for us, they would have died in the '90s.monospaced
- I wonder what % of their recent profits are attached solely to their desktops. They have to realise their market will disappear if they don't push forward.face_melter
- I mean, I'll likely never go back to using a Mac for my work but I would hate to see them vanish altogether.face_melter
- I thought the same thing. How many sales are directly related to MacBook Pros?capn_ron
- isn't october reserved for updates on the macbooks, ipads, etc.? just wait a month.dorf
- not many, their money is in the iphone, the other things just feed the "ecosystem"formed
- Ha i found out the "pro" was all marketing when i used my first G4. Such shit hardware. A little boost when they went intel but usually 2 years behind.********
- and UI is probably personal tastes but I hated OSX. so sloppy for function. ugly too with. reminded me of casino promotions. do they even have cmd+X yet?********
- OS X and usability is all matter of taste. It's powerful if you want it to be and use it their way. For me I can't even use Windows it's so clumsy.monospaced
- That part goes both ways. OS X is still great and if there ever was a fall in the phone market the Mac should be there to keep them steady.monospaced
- what i hate is the non-pro market is larger group, and apple is showing windows they can be profitable with less tools and options and forcing one way.********
- in fact most people prefer less options and just prefer to be told how to do things one way. i see some of that in win10********
- more profit in dumbing down and conformity, especially if u create a base who is incapable of of realizing better********
- Where the hell is my ctrl+X?!?! The most basic thing!!!! Uuuugghhhhpango
- You mean cut? That was in Mac OS before Windows existed. It's Apple-X or now, command-Xmonospaced
- yea. it never existed as far as i could tell. I gave up around leopard. had to still have the "pro" macbook with win running on shitty bootcamp. such POS********
- osx is tinker toy, i actually recommended a mac for my parents for that reason********
- jeez and the file management with all the hidden shit to make things seem quicker can add up. I think i saw a 50GB discrepancy on backing files up on a 1tb********
- in leopard adobe still didnt develop snapping windows. such poor UI to have floating docks and seeing desktop. focus********
- i could probably go on but my views is outdated from last usage, which is a mistake mac users make when comparing today standards to win95********
- nope cut (command-x) still doesn't work for moving files etc. ridiculous.fadein11
- but i guess all perspective. my mom loves her ipad. pc is too much to be concerned with. dumb it down and sell it as pro********
- its brilliant brand marketing to sell "pro" lies to the incompetent. Makes them feel good about overpriced purchases and necessity to defend them.********
- Ya I meant cmd+X. I use pc and Mac on daily bases. There are things on both that bugs me. But missing cmd X is unforgivable! >:(pango

I'm waiting on a MacBook Pro update as well, but I say they should take the time they need to make it right. I'm not conform able with buying the first version of a new model.
I've been rocking the very last version of the MacBook Pro 17. Other than the motherboard going out last year and being replaced for free the computer is perfect. I have no issues with it.
But, maybe it's time I get something new, seeing as it's the most important tool in my job.
-
As a side note, a couple of years ago I worked at a company where I had to use a PC. I thought it was the end of the world at first as I have always been an Apple guy.
It wasn't that bad at all, as a work computer. For personal use it would probably be shitty. So just get an iPad or something if you end up going PC
- yeah the first version is always buggy, I can't wait anymore though, I hope it's worth it. I'm screwed otherwise, I don't know how to build a computerMiguex
- Building a PC is dead easy now - everything is labelled. I made one after 10+ years using Macs, took half a day, tops. Worked first time.face_melter
- might splurge on an xps 15.dorf
