What I’ve learned at CES 2017
Nowhere is it more prevalent than at CES that Microsoft is eating Apple’s lunch. I wrote a bit about this a few weeks ago, when I made the argument that Apple’s lost. We haven’t seen much in the way of groundbreaking innovations from Apple, at least in terms of things that other companies haven’t done or aren’t capable of doing, since the introduction of the iPhone and iPad. Meanwhile, at CES, it’s becoming more and more clear that Microsoft and its partners are now innovating more than ever.

"Report: Apple will go up against Netflix, HBO, others with scripted TV shows
Apple is thinking about getting into the scripted TV business, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal. Ever-mysterious "people familiar with the matter" tell the Journal the shows would be offered to Apple Music subscribers and the company is talking to both "veteran producers" and "experienced marketing executives" to create and promote those shows. Getting an iMac today nerds.
Any suggestions on the fusion drive I should get 1 or 2, can I upgrade to a 2 if I need it? Using the new terminal for personal work, UI designer-- running light animation apps like principle and flino to demo microinteractions. Would like to step things up a little though. Thinking I'll have them install the 16ram since it would cost as much for me to upgrade.21" seems to suit me but mac employee was pushing 27" so hard; suggesting 3tb. Could do it but if I don't need it...
I don't want a laptop this go around (for now at least)
