I think so too...
Is kind of like the 'technology' behind running shoes.
All gimmick to sell product.I wouldn't do juices at home, but if I'm in the mood, I'll get them at a store, only because I like the taste of a couple. but not sure if I would do it everyday
- i drink smoothies most every morning, always mixing it up with different fruits, great day starteralbums

I've never understood the malarky that juicing is better for me than blending. If I can eat all those fruits by just chewing, I can blend them and drink them. The bs about blenders not being good is just that, BS, from the juicing community to hype their overpriced wasteful products. I even pour a little water in my blender after my smoothie to drink / rinse the residue (mainly seed / skin) before cleaning.

If you're serious then a juice press is the way to go. Supposedly those rotary ones kill a lot of goodness... But then you're juicing and probably not living on pies and burgers so its all good.
- if you consume the juice from the rotary ones within 30 mins a good 98% of all the nutrients are still there.

scarabin, buy a vitamix (blender on crack). You'll eat the food. the fiber stripped from juicers is necessary for digestion. https://www.vitamix.com/

I just use a cheapo blender for mine. Kale, banana, blue berries, cucumber and avacado. Tastes surprisingly good. The trick is to make sure you blend up the kale thoroughly so the texture is consistent.

yeah i think it's the green juices that make me nervous, they just sound bitter and gross. good to hear the fruits and other things can cut that. i just keep ending up with stuff in my CSA box that i don't use– cucumbers, some greens, cider apples, tangerines, etc i suspect might be better used in a juice...
figured i'd maybe give it a go

I did it a lot when I was freelancing from home but I know I hardly have time for prepare juice and clean everything. It's really a chore but now I realize I just sound lazy.

We used to juice. It's messy and unless you have your recipes down it tastes like crap. Plus, it takes a ton of fruits and veggies (veggie especially) to make a glass.
We recently switched over to a Vitamix Blender. It's way better. We'll make protein smoothies and they're so much better than the juice we were getting. They also have a ton of easy recipes to follow. I'll normally mix in plain oatmeal for a few good carbs.

We got the pro series 500. It's loud as fuck but man can it make a smoothie.

People wince at the idea of a spinach smoothie but it blends down to a really creamy substance and mixed with banana or honey, it both, tastes really good
