Write an acrostic poem about the status of ChatGPT.
C: ChatGPT is currently down
H: Huge demand has caused the site to crash
A: All users will have to wait
T: Time is needed for the servers to catch up
G: Go grab a coffee and check back soon
P: Patience is key in this situation
T: Trust that the team is working hard to fix it up

Watching how fast AI tech unfolds, do you think within 30 years AI will get powerful enough to solve all science problems, incl. age reversal drugs, potentially allowing all of us live forever?
- No.grafician
- Yes.palimpsest
- Maybejonny_quest_lives
- I think they solved it already, just waiting for human trials to get approved.

The Age of Industrialized AI
Where is AI Going Over the Next Two Decades? The Sci-Fi Story that AI Will Destroy All the Jobs Will Slowly Fade as AI Becomes More Deeply Collaborative and Co-Creative.It’s 2033 and you're a top notch concept artist in London building a game with 100 other people.
The game looks incredible. It's powered by Unreal Engine 9 and it's capable of photo-realistic graphics in real time on the PlayStation 7 and near perfect physics. It's got a character AI that can talk with anyone in an open ended way and still stay within the plot guidelines to keep players hunting down magical rubies and the divine sword of radiance.
Ten years ago it would have taken a team of 1500-5000 to make this giant game. Now you can do it with 100 people. But that doesn't mean less work and less games it means more. A lot more. We used to get 10 AAA games a year and now we get 1,000.
- It should really bring forth a 3 day week and a decent standard of living for everyone. But I'm sure folk will work even more.PhanLo
- so concept art is still a thing in 2033, and UR2? :D AI characters didn't evolved? small team is capable to put their ideas on old hardware like PlayStation 7?sted
- true...3day work a week is enough ..its shifting now into 4 slowly around here.... who knows with a good growthrate it may edge into 3...neverscared
- old hardware what?neverscared
- are u beneath the speculative design fiction of the thing or what do u mean ?neverscared
- So those 1400-4900 people that don't have jobs anymore....what, are they on Mars now?formed

- "Top notch concept artist" those poor peeps have to crank in the game industry currently as it is... fast and loose.jonny_quest_lives
- Watch a video game release video sometime... concept artists are rarely interviewed. It was tge same with Ralph Mcquarrie and Star Wars... recognized years latjonny_quest_lives

- brilliant. but it's all random it seems. I copied the same prompt to test and got this https://playgroundai…_niko
- so I imagine it's a lot of trial and doors and tweaking, or do they upload a drawing as a bas and hav the ai make it better?_niko
- It’s like a fruit machine. But a base photo could provide good resultsPhanLo
- yeah playing around with some base drawings I've done, super cool and eliminates a lot of the randomness_niko

Some good useful stuff
- This is why AI could be super useful in my opinion.ApeRobot
- Has been usefil for game developers for years. Game behaviors, npc's, swarm mechanics.. It's just how much you let to the technology take over your process.jonny_quest_lives
- If this leads to a generation of lazy AI generated art/graphic design we are fucked. Not optimistic based on past human behaviors.jonny_quest_lives
- aaaand at 6:55ish the infamous "Greg Rutkowski" prompt appears (-‸ლ)jonny_quest_lives

From Character Development to Storyboards: Using Midjourney & AI Art to Unlock the Potential of Your Screenwriting
- If a director actually uses this, it is showing his own incompetence. You lost the crew, the actors and the investors right theretoemaas
- ^ I agree with anything that is inherently collaborative. But I've produced this week more accurate representations of stills to illustrate a pitch than I couldspl33nidoru
- find before for this idea I've had for years.
When your clients have zero visualisation capabilities, and will like the wrong thing in an imperfect reference,spl33nidoru - this is a wonderful tool. Don't want it to replace making/thinking, but making your own framing/lighting/moo... ref rather than looking for one for hours is greatspl33nidoru
- But I agree with you when it comes to making the machine crank out crazy shit and passing it as creativity.spl33nidoru
- hardest thing would be to get consistent characters throughout the storyboard.microkorg
- ^ I've had pretty consistent results by prompting specific actors, or even directors attached to a certain kind of profile.spl33nidoru
- + I quite like that faces don't 100% match from one frame to the next, it doesn't look like i'm stealing an existing film. It's more of a precise mood in a way.spl33nidoru
