I have been using it to turn 2D signage mockups into 3D vis, I have to say its pretty remarkable with only minor text issues which need to be tweaked and backgrounds that need extending.
By far the most usable with consistent iterations and I have tried 4 or 5 of the others.

The text rendering and style transfer is cool but it doesn't seem as good as Midjourney when you deviate from the main styles everyone is posting. Although it's hard to test right now with the rate limits.

lol, it's impressive how the OpenAI one can replicate all the elements and text of another image but notice how they censored the gun. This is a pretty boring future we're creating for ourselves if they stick with this level of censorship.

Alas Runway Gen-4, while impressive, is still doing some weird artefacts. Especially when there's typography in it. We're getting there, but probably needs another 6-12 months to be really usable in commercial stuff. And hopefully there will be an option to have less compression on the video itself too, like a ProRes QT instead of only mp4 option.

The problem with all these things is that there's always a stock quality to the output. As much fun as it is to morph an image into another style it feels like you are just pulling an existing style off the shelf rather than creating something truly original.

- But it's easy with the new chatgpt to invent a style yourself, feed the image in the chat and it will generate more images in your stylegrafician
- Plus, no layers and editing, but for quick presentations and moodboards it does the job
These are still just tools, up to the user how to use them ofcgrafician - Anyway, waiting for the new MJ version to test it outgrafician
